This quick practice was designed to enable you to be able to take a breath and reset. Allow for this reset to transform you. It will create space and deep awareness for you to access your own inner wisdom and power.

Before we start,

Take a minute to make sure you are comfortable.

Make sure your legs are not crossed and place your hands in a relaxed position.

Now gently close your eyes.

Welcome to this meditation session.

I give you full permission to do something different than I say.

Your only job is to listen,

Not to me,

But to yourself.

I am your guide.

I am going to bring you on this journey and you are going to make it your own.

To begin,

Take in a nice deep breath.

Hold it at the top and release.

You're going to do this two more times.

Take in another nice deep breath.

Hold it at the top and now release.

And now take in one final big deep breath.

Hold it at the top and release.

I'd now like for you to envision yourself sitting at the edge of the ocean.

This can be a place you're familiar with or somewhere entirely new.

Notice the breeze.

Notice the waves.

Begin to observe everything around you.

What is the weather like?

Do you see any birds or animals?

Are there any boats on the water?

Continue to observe anything and everything around you.

Your surroundings are here to provide a peaceful calm experience.

Let this feeling of calmness wash over you now.

Notice it starts at the top of your head and moves down your entire body like a beautiful wave.

Breathe in deeply to allow this peacefulness to fully envelope you.

As you continue to sit by this water,

Know that you are really in control of this moment.

You are really in control of this time.

Feel free to wander.

Feel free to explore.

Feel free to swim or get into a boat.

Whatever feels right for you,

This is your time.

Life is all about creating what you want and choosing good thoughts that make you feel good.

When you focus on the positive,

You receive more positive in your life.

Sure,

The rain is there some days,

But it does not have to affect you.

In your mind's eye,

Picture some rain starting to move over the ocean.

See yourself being provided with the most perfect umbrella.

And as you begin to open this umbrella,

Notice how protected you feel.

Notice how you have been provided for in the most perfect and graceful way possible.

You are safe.

You do not have to be part of this storm.

This is your chance to make complete peace with yourself and everything around you.

Now take a deep breath.

Allow all of these good feelings to fill up your heart and your mind.

And now exhale.

Let's sit here for another moment.

When you are ready,

Take a few moments to reawaken your mind and your body.

Feel free to stretch,

Wiggle your fingers,

And wiggle your toes.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Only you feel.
