Namaste.

As we enter an exciting new cycle,

You are invited to turn inward and engage in deep self-inquiry,

Questioning the ideas and identity you hold about yourself,

Whether shaped by roles,

Thoughts or emotions,

To reveal that these are mere layers,

Not the core of who you truly are.

This meditation is inspired by the new moon in Sculpio and is a deeply contemplative meditation for those willing to deeply probe their inner selves and welcome the transformation this effort may bring.

Find a comfortable position and take a few deep breaths,

Filling yourself with life energy.

And on your exhales,

Release any tension and worries you may be holding onto.

Settle yourself into this moment,

This time is for you.

Return to your natural soft breathing.

Visualise the inner light at your core.

You are a light shining ever brightly,

Illumining all that appears to and in you.

Before we get to the true self-meditation within this meditation,

There are a couple of contemplations.

With this fresh start and new beginning,

Now is the perfect time to take charge of your life through the practice of self-mastery,

Especially in the areas where addictions,

Financial stress or emotional burdens weigh you down.

The pursuit of freedom from suffering begins with understanding that often these external attachments stem from deeper unresolved patterns within,

Where they may be filling a void or numbing a deeper discomfort.

Whether it's overspending,

Unhealthy indulgences or emotional reactivity,

In an honest self-inquiry you'll discover that any disturbance or dissonance they present are not aligned with the peace and freedom that is your true self.

Transformation begins by recognising that these patterns can be shifted and it is possible to free yourself from their grip.

Self-inquiry isn't about control for its own sake,

But about aligning your outer life with the deeper truth of your inner being.

Until the gong,

Contemplate how addressing these patterns head-on allows you to make space for your spiritual growth and allow your true self to shine through more clearly,

Unhindered by the layers of attachment and distraction.

If necessary,

Set an intention to seek any appropriate support to move you forwards on your journey.

Understanding the motives and actions of others is important for nurturing deeper intimacy,

Forgiveness and recognition that we are all one.

When time is taken to reflect on the patterns and conditioning that drive not only your behaviour but also the behaviour of those around you,

You begin to see beyond the surface level reactions.

This understanding helps dissolve the barriers that keep you feeling separate,

Nurturing compassion and empathy.

By recognising that others,

Like yourself,

Are often acting from unconscious fears or desires,

You are able to open the door to genuine connection and forgiveness.

Until the gong,

In the relationships that matter to you the most,

Contemplate how this awareness offers the opportunity to experience the deeper unity that transcends individual differences.

Observe the softness of your breath.

And now for the main focus of this meditation.

For the spiritual seeker,

Being passionate about life and cultivating a resourceful mindset is not about striving for external achievements,

But about aligning with the deeper truth of what you are,

Pure consciousness.

True passion arises when you live from this awareness,

Free from the distractions of ego-driven pursuits.

A resourceful mindset,

Rounded in the wisdom of the true self,

Allows you to face challenges with clarity and creativity,

Knowing that nothing in the external world defines or limits you.

Despite it,

The ultimate priority is always in the inner journey,

Probing deeply into the nature of your existence.

As you focus on realising the boundless consciousness that you are,

All of life's experiences become opportunities for growth,

Expansion and the expression of your true essence.

Through meditation and introspection,

The surface perceptions of self can be challenged and you are able to move beyond them,

Uncovering the ever-present awareness beneath.

This awareness is not something distant or hidden,

It is always with you,

Waiting to be recognised.

The realisation of the true self is not a process of becoming something new,

But rather seeing clearly what has always been.

The belief that you are limited to your mind and body is false,

And it is only by questioning this assumption that you can come to know your boundless,

Timeless nature.

It is a secret,

Hidden in plain sight.

The fullness,

Peace and freedom is already within you.

Through self-enquiry in meditation,

This truth can be realised,

Bringing about a profound shift in how you perceive yourself and life itself.

The following meditation,

Within a meditation,

Aims to help you start a regular practice of finding the secret hidden in plain sight.

Please open your eyes for a moment,

Observe your waking world,

Establish yourself in it.

Close your eyes,

Drop the waking world and other than listening to my voice periodically,

You are not hearing anything,

Smelling,

Tasting or touching anything.

Allow your awareness of the external to fade,

Except for the faint scents of your body.

Imagine there's nothing outside,

No room,

No house,

No traffic,

No birds singing,

No family,

No job,

No bills to pay,

No body to maintain and care for.

Imagine there's no thoughts,

Memories,

Desires,

No disturbance of the mind.

Now drop the mind,

Moving into the silence of blankness.

If any thoughts,

Memories or desires arise,

Drop them immediately and calmly,

Don't even remember what your name is,

No happiness,

No misery,

No emotions,

Be in the deep silence of blankness.

And now move beyond the blankness to that which you are.

Ah When it is comfortable for you,

Reorientate yourself to this moment.

Bring your attention to the soft rhythm of your breath.

Probing deeply within is powerfully transformative.

Until the chimes,

You're invited to spend some time in gratitude for all that has been,

All that is and all that will be.

In your own time gently open your eyes.

As you continue on your spiritual journey,

It can be helpful to revisit this meditation,

Allowing the insights to deepen and take root deep within,

Each session providing a new opportunity to deepen your spiritual practice.

Alongside this,

My wide range of meditations offer further opportunities to support your growth and reflection.

Thank you for meditating with me today,

May we all walk our lifetimes path in unity.

Ah Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti Shanti
