This is a short phone chat. It's a story about the power of using collective energy to save those in need. Maybe we all need a bit help sometimes from those who are stronger, or further along the line with more positive energy then we might have at a given point in time. We can be desperately in need of a lift and they're there to help us. We have a short positive affirmation as well! Wisdom Bits are short talks to help you live the positive lifestyle that you deserve.

Hi,

This is Stefania,

And this is a wisdom bit,

A bit of a different one.

It's a story,

A short,

Very short story about caring,

Caring for others,

And being part of a group where every member of the group is appreciated,

Seen as valuable and loved.

It's called the Bee Caring Story.

My dad has bees.

Today I went to his house and he showed me all of the honey he had gotten from the hives.

He took the lid off of a five-gallon bucket full of honey,

And on top of the honey there were three little bees struggling.

They were covered in sticky honey and drowning.

I asked him if we could help them,

And he said he was sure they wouldn't survive.

Casualties of honey collection,

I suppose.

I asked him again if we could at least get them out and kill them quickly.

After all,

He was the one who taught me to put a suffering animal or bug out of his misery.

He finally conceded and scooped the bees out of the bucket.

He put them in an empty yogurt container and put the plastic container outside.

Because he had disrupted the hive with the earlier honey collection,

There were bees flying all over outside.

We put the three little bees in the container on a bench and left them to their fate.

My dad called me out a little while later to show me what was happening.

These three little bees were surrounded by all their brothers,

And they were cleaning the sticky,

Nearly dead bees,

Helping them to get all of the honey off their bodies.

We came back a short time later and there was only one little bee left in the container.

He was still being tended to by his brothers.

When it was time for me to leave,

We checked one last time and all three of the bees had been cleaned off enough to fly away and the container was empty.

Those three little bees lived because they were surrounded by family and friends who would not give up on them.

Family and friends who refused to let them drown in their own stickiness and resolve to help until the last little bee could be set free.

Bee brothers?

Bee peers?

Bee teammates?

We could all learn a thing or two from these bees.

Be kind always.

And that was an example.

Caring for others.

Collectively putting the energy together for a common goal.

The author of this story is unknown,

But he or she sent out a great message.

We could be applicable to us,

To anyone at any point in time.

We should love and take care of ourselves,

Not because we are conceited or too self-centered,

But because being free in our own energy helps us to reach out and help others with a clear intention,

With clear energy.

There may be somebody you know right now who could use a little help.

Maybe they didn't ask for it,

But you will know intuitively whether to leave them alone or to reach out.

Let's just try being open to being a channel of good for others,

Like the little bees in the story.

They all got together for a common goal.

They put their minds to it.

They kept going.

They didn't give up,

And they won the day.

You are amazing.

You are a miracle.

And we are all connected.
