Hi,
This is Stefania and this is the first of a series of four morning EFT,
Emotional freedom technique,
Guided tapping sessions to lift our spirits.
If we've been having a hard time lately,
It's something to help us focus on improvement and things getting better.
Let's start,
Let's try to start the mornings with hope and faith rather than disappointment and discouragement.
Maybe you're familiar with the EFT tapping points.
In case you're not,
Here they are.
The tapping points are the side of the hand,
Tapping on the side of one hand with your dominant hand.
This is called the karate chop point.
Next is the eyebrow point,
Which is the inner edge of your eyebrows.
Then the side of your eye,
Gently near the temple,
Under the eye,
Under the nose,
The chin point,
Which is the point below your mouth and above your chin.
Then we have the collarbone point,
Just under your collarbone.
You can do one side or you can do both.
Then we have under the arm.
It's about where the bra line will be on ladies,
Just a few inches under your armpit.
Lastly,
We have the crown,
The top of your head.
Okay,
Let's begin.
Take a few deep breaths to calm ourselves and focus and let's begin our tapping ritual.
Today we are going to focus on acknowledging our resilience,
Welcoming positivity,
And affirming that things can only get better.
Usually you would pick a point between 1 and 10 to describe how you're feeling.
10 being the most intense and tense,
1 being totally relaxed.
Then at the end of our tapping,
You would go through those numbers again and see if there's been any change.
But I would like that to be optional.
If you want to gauge your levels between 1 and 10,
Please do so.
But if you don't,
If you might find it confusing just to think,
Where am I?
Just let it be.
Don't worry about it.
Okay,
Tap on the karate chop point,
The side of your hand.
Even though I've been having a hard time lately,
I choose to acknowledge that I am strong and capable of overcoming challenges.
Even though it's been difficult,
I am open to shifting my focus and welcoming the good that I bring and receive to change the world for the better.
I am open to accepting the good that I bring and receive to change the world that I bring and receive today.
Even though it's been difficult,
I am open to shifting my focus and welcoming the good that I bring and receive today.
Continue to tap on the karate chop point.
Even though I may feel overwhelmed,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself and know that I am resilient.
Even though I may feel overwhelmed,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself and know that I am resilient.
Eyebrow point.
I'm alive and ready to thrive.
Side of eye.
I welcome the good that I bring.
Under the eye.
I am open to receiving the blessings of this day.
Under the nose.
I do more than survive.
I thrive.
Chin point.
Things can only get better for me.
Collar point.
I choose to see the positive aspects of my life.
Under the arm.
I release any negative thoughts that no longer serve me.
Top of the head.
I am grateful for this new day and the opportunities it brings.
And we're going to go through that once more.
Eyebrow point.
I'm alive and ready to thrive.
Side of eye.
I welcome the good that I bring.
Under the eye.
I am open to receiving the blessings of this day.
Under the nose.
I do more than survive.
I thrive.
Chin point.
Things can only get better for me.
Collarbone point.
I choose to see the positive aspects of my life.
Underarm.
I release any negative thoughts that no longer serve me.
Top of head.
I am grateful for this new day and the opportunities it brings.
One last time.
And top of head.
I am grateful for this new day and the opportunities it brings.
Okay.
Deep breath in.
And out.
Deep breath in.
And out.
Now.
Say with me,
Please.
I am strong.
Capable.
And resilient.
I welcome the good that I bring and receive today.
I do more than survive.
I thrive.
Things can only get better for me.
And so it is.
If you did take a measurement about how you were feeling when you started,
On the scale of one to ten,
Ten being the most intensely tense,
One being the most relaxed or at peace,
Have a look at your number and see if it's changed.
If it's not,
You might want to go through it again.
But if it's not,
It's okay.
We'll just keep at it.
We have three more sessions to go.
So as you go about your day,
Carry this positive energy as much as you can with you.
You're amazing.
You are a miracle.
Bye for now.
And I'll see you in session number two.
You can do it tomorrow.
You can do it whenever you want.
It'll be there for you whenever you need it.
