This is a 10 minute guided yoga nidra meditation.
Hi,
I'm Bee and I'm going to guide you on a 10 minute yoga nidra meditation.
Please find a comfortable place.
You are trying to fall asleep at night.
Ten minutes to help you to get to sleep or to help you get into a deep relaxation.
So as you come into your space either lying down on the floor or in your bed or you take a break from your office space and you have a conscious nap.
Let's go through this journey together just that can help us fall asleep.
As you come here in your space and you become aware of my voice,
Allow yourself to truly relax.
You are loved.
You are awake and aware.
All you have to do is listen to my voice as it guides you.
As we come together in a deep state of relaxation you have an intention.
Either your intention is to fall asleep or your intention is to stay awake and deeply relax.
Rest.
I invite you now to bring to mind an intention for your practice.
I am sleeping,
I am deeply relaxed,
I am open to this experience.
Whatever your intention is,
I invite you now,
Repeat it to yourself three more times.
You are relaxed.
You're sleeping.
You're dreaming,
Entering a dreaming state of being.
As you relax deeper and deeper,
Your feet up into your shins,
Round into your knees,
Up your thighs,
Your hips,
Your bum,
Your whole bottom part of your body is deeply relaxed as the relaxation moves up your spine.
Traveling vertically up your spine,
Round your stomach into your ribcage.
Through your heart,
Round into your left and right shoulder.
Relaxation goes down your arms as your arms begin to get heavy,
Your whole body is soft and relaxed,
Your shoulders are soft with relaxation,
Your left shoulder,
Your right shoulder,
Relaxation is moving up,
Your spine at the back of your head is soft with relaxation,
All the way forward,
Up,
Into your face.
All of your facial muscles are soft with relaxation,
Your eyebrows are soft,
Your whole body is truly and deeply relaxed.
You are awake and aware or you are deeply resting having a nap a conscious nap right here right now I invite you to relax deeper and deeper.
As you relax deeper and deeper,
You focus on your breath.
Inhaling,
And exhaling.
Inhaling.
And exhaling.
One more breath.
Inhaling and exhaling.
As you become aware of your breath,
I invite you to focus on your breathing.
Focus on how your body rises and falls.
With each and every breath,
I invite you to count your breaths backwards from 11 to 1.
Inhale,
Belly rises,
Exhale,
Belly falls,
11,
Inhale,
Belly rises exhale belly falls ten inhale belly rises exhale belly falls nine continue on your own now from here back to one at your own time try not to make a mistake if you do just start again from eleven.
Bringing awareness back into your breath,
Back onto my voice,
I invite you now to stop your counting.
Wherever you are,
Just come back into the moment to focus on my voice.
We now move on to the next part of the yoga nidra.
All you have to do is focus on my voice and feel deeply.
I invite you now to feel how heavy your body feels while at the same time now your body feels very light you feel heavy and you feel light Heavy and light.
Heavy and fly coming back to your senses try to feel as much as you can using all of your senses Feel your body,
Feel the heaviness of your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your torso,
The heaviness of your hands and your arms and your shoulders,
The heaviness of your neck and your head.
While at the same time your head should feel very light,
Your neck feels light,
Your shoulders are lifted,
Your torso feels light,
Your hips feel light,
Your legs are light,
Your feet feel light.
In this moment,
I invite you now to come back into your body and back into your breath.
Inhaling and exhaling deeply you are awake and aware and you bring awareness back into your body this is the end of the yoga nidra practice you are either gently now beginning to wake yourself up waking your body up from your feet wriggling your toes moving around or you are falling asleep into a deep slumber in your bed,
Whether you have been napping or sleeping.
To have a conscious nap or you used it to fall asleep,
I hope that you enjoyed this meditation.
I invite you now to bring awareness back,
Back to your body or to fall asleep peacefully.
