A short bit of improvised music, then rythms, and then bells and singing bowls. Let the mind engage with the music, then let it fade as the complexity wanes, leaving you as pure awareness. Then simply stay observing, being aware. You can also follow the sounds into your own universe, that you can stay in, even as the meditation stops.

Transcript

Spend some time listening to the music.

In the beginning,

The sounds will be engaging and keep you entertained and keep your intellect here.

As the sounds quiet down and become rhythms,

Just follow it into a more quiet place,

Leaving the intellect and the thoughts by themselves while you stay here.

While you are here,

In this empty space,

Or wherever it is,

Start noticing,

Just noticing,

Feel your breath.

Be aware that you are here,

Even when the sounds have stopped and when the mind has stopped.

Just be aware of whatever is here,

It may be nothing at all,

Or maybe there are things going on,

Maybe there's a tingling or a vibration,

Some ringing or buzzling,

Some feelings being felt,

Some images or imagined sounds coming,

Maybe sensations and that's fine.

Just feel them,

Go with them,

Go to wherever it goes.
