A 9-minute meditation using a Tibetan singing bowl as a point of focus. The beginning has a few instructions, the rest is time to simply listen to a classic sound from Buddhism. The shape of the bowl lets the resonance hang in the air for a long time making it an effective point of focus.

Transcript

This is a Tibetan singing bowl.

It has a few different sounds.

This was the loudest one.

If you feel like it,

You can spend some time just sitting here listening.

If you get distracted,

Just focus on your breath and return to the sound.

Spend some time relaxing,

Just leaning into this sound.

If thoughts arise,

Let them be there.

Let them go again.

Let them leave when they would like to.

And if they don't want to leave,

Just focus on the sound.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.

Let them go again.
