In this recording of my Wednesday 23rd, Soul Shots live we discuss being sourced from within, part 2. This is taking the concepts I talk about in my other 'How to be sourced from within' to a whole deeper level of consciousness and self-actualization. I draw on examples in nature and in our lives to demonstrate the concepts shared and ways to open up to the wealth that you already carry within you. It's potent teaching.

Hello.

Oh,

I have one meditator here.

I don't even know if that's me.

Hi.

Hi,

Hi,

Hi.

I'm just taking a breath to just centre.

Just coming back home to ourselves.

It's very easy to wander off in very different directions and to find ourselves getting quite easily lost in day-to-day minutia,

In day-to-day life,

In explorations,

In all sorts of letting our minds going off,

Right?

It's very difficult to remember to just come back home.

I think that's one of the things that Insight Timer is really beautiful at,

Is giving us those little pockets to just come home to oneself and just remember that connection with home,

Right?

Which is self,

Which is God,

Which is all that is and all that matters.

So,

Hello,

Hello,

Hello.

I book these lives like immediately after I've finished the one before,

So I do it every Wednesday at 11.

11.

I was pretty ill last week and I booked the live and I called it How to be Sourced from Within.

It wasn't until a few days later and I thought,

I'm sure that sounds familiar.

I'm sure I've done that before.

Then I realised I think I actually talked about this in my very first live and then I also did a talk on it,

A little soul shots that I uploaded into my profile.

Then I tried to change what it was called,

This one,

Because I was like,

Oh no,

I don't want to repeat myself,

But it didn't actually work and I couldn't change it.

So,

I just trust in spirit.

I trust that my mistake isn't a mistake and there's no mistakes in real life.

Then what's come through is there's a part two of this.

Being sourced from within.

When we were in the manifestation world and law of attraction world and just living in life in general,

Everything we seem to want or desire,

We kind of put outside of ourselves.

So,

We're always kind of seeking and grasping and even like our meditative practices,

Our spiritual practices,

Our manifestation practices can really feel and become like this,

I'm doing this to get something because I don't believe I have it.

It's really easy,

Right,

To look at our everyday life,

To look at our bank account,

To look at the economy,

To look at our relationships and see lack.

So,

There is this real tendency to embody that and believe that this is something inherently missing with us.

Like,

Oh,

If I could just understand this one thing,

If I could just get this to click into place,

If I could just have a windfall of money,

Then everything's going to be fine and what tends to happen is that we can be successful and manifest things into our life,

But without ever realising and resourcing from within and really coming to that concept first,

Those things are always going to fall away or they're going to like feel empty or you're still going to have the same problems but at a higher level.

So,

It might be that you manifest the love of your life and like your twin flame or soulmate relationship,

I'm not really one to kind of believe in those terms,

But you might manifest this amazing relationship but then find the same insecurities are coming up or the same sort of behaviours in that person are coming up,

Like they lie or cheat or perhaps it's a different level of that and it's the same patterns or you might find that you up-level your life to a whole different level of finance,

You manifest all this money but then because you haven't done the inner work,

Because you haven't actually ever believed you are resourced from within,

Then you kind of end up broke but a higher income bracket and you see this all the time,

You know,

And my sister,

Bless her,

Is one of these,

She'll always say,

You know,

You always spend what you earn,

So like no matter what you,

I don't know if she still believes that but she used to really vehemently believe that,

That no matter what she earned,

She'd already spent it all and it's the same thing,

Like until you really become and understand and see this richness within yourself,

Then whatever money you manifest in your life is never going to feel enough,

It's never going to give you the satisfaction that you actually are craving,

Which is this feeling of complete satisfaction and the wealth of who you are.

So this is the concept of being sourced from within.

Supply is everything that we need,

All of those resources,

What we want or perceive that we need in life and that's what clothes us,

Feeds us,

Houses us,

Inspires us,

All of that and again this belief that supply is actually these external things,

So we think supply is money,

We think supply is food,

We think supply is clothing,

We think supply is a job,

We think supply is resources or people or networks and so we are constantly believing that whatever is in our bank account or whatever is in our business funds or whatever is in our salary is our supply or whatever is in our relationship,

You know,

The love there is the source of that thing and I want to challenge this concept because if you imagine an orange tree,

The orange tree grows oranges and that is kind of,

It's like,

I'm not going to say purpose but it's like,

It's wealth,

The orange tree literally produces these oranges and that's how it reproduces itself but it's also what it gives us,

It's this like delicious,

Nourishing,

Healthy,

Juicy fruit that we get to enjoy but the orange tree doesn't think or assume and I know I'm going to talk about an orange tree as if it has consciousness,

I actually probably believe it has a lot more consciousness than we will ever have as humans even though we think we're very highly conscious because to a tree this is just innate but the orange tree doesn't think that the oranges are its supply and what I mean by that is like when those oranges drop and fall to the floor or are picked or are taken away or rot or whatever it is or eaten by animals,

The tree doesn't look at its bare branches and go,

Oh shoot,

I've just lost all of my wealth,

I've just lost all of my supply,

Like what am I going to do?

Oh my goodness,

My branches are empty,

What am I going to do?

The tree doesn't think that,

The tree is actually very much aware that its supply comes from within and so every year the tree will,

You know,

It will gather its energy,

It will draw from within itself and from the surrounding areas and there's also another piece of this that I'm going to add in that actually if you weigh the soil that a tree grows in before and after it's grown,

It doesn't actually take anything from the soil,

It's the same weight,

The soil,

So the tree,

Although it seemingly gathers its nutrients from the ground,

It's not taking anything,

Everything that is producing that orange is coming from within the tree,

Its source isn't external to it,

Its supply isn't the orange's and so when we assume that the orange's,

Let's say,

Or the money in our bank account is our supply,

We've completely flipped it on its head and gone to the wrong end of the stick,

Like many tree analogies today.

And so what our money is,

What our food is,

What the orange is or the apple is to the tree is actually a demonstration of our supply,

Of what we feel or realize and are connected to within.

And so to be resourced from within is to be so fully aware that that supply is always innately in you,

Is of you and that whatever is external,

Whatever is in our vision in front of us,

So be it the bank statement or the bills or the relationship or whatever it is or the business,

Like whatever is in front of us is a demonstration or a reflection of what we believe about ourselves,

About where we believe our supply comes from,

About how abundant we believe we are.

And even if you think about the seed,

You know,

I've talked about this with the oak tree,

You know,

Like the orange seed,

The acorn,

That becomes the tree,

Right?

It has to be willing to break open and to lose its form as a seed,

As an acorn.

Like it has no concept probably,

Like if it could think it's not going to go,

I'm going to imagine being a big oak tree and like,

Because it's outside of its existence,

Right?

It's like,

All it knows is it's tiny little existence as a seed,

Like a little hard nut.

And it can't imagine really the vast expansiveness of a tree that's forever producing and providing and giving and receiving,

Like there's a whole huge reciprocity within a tree's life that continues millennia,

Right?

And so it has to look like,

It has to completely surrender to whatever is within itself.

And if you think that a massive oak tree comes from a tiny little acorn and that future,

Like whole forest of oak trees come from a one acorn,

You know,

That's reproduced and reproduced,

It's phenomenal.

There is such a sense of understanding that our supply is within us.

And so you are no different to that orange tree.

You are no different to that seed that just,

You know,

It needs to emerge,

But it needs to completely surrender to whatever that blueprint is within itself,

Right?

We all come here with a seed of intention and it's up to us to completely surrender to that.

And one of the problems is,

Is that when our brains get involved and then we start trying to manipulate and manifest and,

And you know,

Do law of attraction and attract to us,

You know,

Become the magnet.

Well,

Why if you're sourced from within do you need to be a magnet?

Why if you're sourced from within do you need to attract and pull?

Like what you're doing is essentially manual labor,

But mind labor.

So you haven't really kind of evolved in any way.

You,

And I know this is a sort of tough lesson to,

To learn and you know,

I've had to learn it.

It wasn't pleasant and also it was pleasant.

But when we realize that,

You know,

If we're trying to attract,

If we're trying to magnetize,

You know,

You know,

The affirmation,

I am a money magnet,

That's in all of the money mindset things.

It's assuming that it's not within you.

But as like we were talking about last week with,

With what God is,

God disentangled from all patriarchy,

Religion and culture and everything.

God in its truest form is so whole and complete and incomprehensible and is closer than breath is within us.

And if we are all one and we really truly embody that,

Then all of the supply of God,

The kingdom of heaven or whatever,

The kingdom of God,

All of that is within us and it's up to us to allow that to emerge.

And so your supply isn't what's in your bank account.

It isn't the business coming through your door.

Your supply is inherently within you and everything that you need is within you.

Does that make sense?

Is that resonating?

Is anyone getting stuck on that?

These are quite advanced concepts.

So it's like,

Lesley says,

It's like the acorn just opens to what wants to become without judging,

Complaining or trying to figure it out exactly.

Like it's not trying to become an orange tree,

The acorn.

It's like,

It's not desperately going,

Oh my God,

If only I could be a sunflower.

I'm going to manifest being a sunflower.

Can you repeat the soil?

Okay.

So they've done experiments where they've weighed and measured the soil and then planted a seed and grown a tree and then removed the tree and weighed and measured the soil again after the tree has grown and the soil remains the same in quantity and weight in amount.

So the tree takes nothing,

Actually in reality,

It takes nothing from the soil.

It obviously has its nutrients out.

It buries its soil,

Like its roots deep into the ground.

It takes in water,

But because it's in complete reciprocity and it's always giving and receiving for whatever reason like the soil stays the same.

So it's completely sourced from within the tree.

Everything that that tree becomes is already within the acorn or within the seed.

And it's the same for us,

Right?

But we're so removed from that memory and we're so have like forgotten that this is a truth that it's a really difficult process to come back to remembering that.

And it's really easy to look at everything external to us and absolutely think that that is our supply,

That is our source.

When in actual fact it is just a demonstration.

We are rich inside,

Right?

We are literally so wealthy in all,

Like in everything.

And we're so disconnected from that because we have literally been programmed and trained to believe that everything we want or desire is external to us.

To the point where we even have to like,

You know,

Write down our lists of desires.

Like if God is all and we are all one,

I'm pretty sure God knows our desires.

I'm pretty sure that if you actually just leave the meddling and fiddling alone and surrendered completely,

You'd be eternally surprised.

You would be incredibly enriched as long as you remember and connect back to the richness that you are,

Right?

That you have that blueprint within you and you are fully resourced for that.

And whatever is external is just a demonstration of how much you know that to be true.

How much you know that you are your source,

You are the supply as a particle of God,

As a particle of the whole of life.

And whenever I talk about God,

Like disentangle it from religion.

Like go listen to last week's Live and then you'll kind of get a bit more of a sense of that.

But when I use the word God a lot because I kind of like want to reclaim it,

You know,

Because we don't actually have another word that encompasses this.

We have source,

We have love,

We have.

.

.

But these are all aspects of God because God is so infinitely whole and everything.

There is no word.

So I try and use and claim God as much as I can and kind of claim it back from those distortions.

So yeah,

And then the other part of this,

Which is like when you truly believe this or another way into belief,

Like to understanding and having a concept of this is that anything sort of man-made is not real.

Like if you really see this from a spiritual perspective,

Like God created all and all was good,

Like that is actually from the Bible,

But a lot of these religious texts have truths in them,

All of them,

And they all overlap.

So we pick those,

We look for those threads of truth,

Right?

And if all that is created is good,

Then anything that isn't good can't really exist.

It's a bit of a head twister bender on this one and it took me a while to kind of like meditate and contemplate over it.

But then you start to realize that if these things that are bad or you label as bad,

If they actually don't exist,

Then they have no power over you.

And then you sort of come back to this innate power within you and that's God,

Like that's the remembrance of God.

That's that understanding.

And it's hard to explain and I'm still kind of learning this and if my brain gets too involved,

It goes.

Like it gets all complicated and icky and I start questioning.

But then when I drop into it as a truth,

That if anything man-made or bad or whatever isn't real,

Then it's not true and then you're free.

And I think,

You know,

In one of the,

I think in the Bible as well,

It says like,

You know,

You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.

But that's what the sense is.

It's like this actual freedom and it's the same as understanding the supply comes from within and that the money or if you're the tree,

The fruit or whatever it is,

Is just a demonstration of the supply you believe you have and that you know innately as truth within you,

Then you have power.

You have a freedom that is yours and can never be taken away and you start realizing that what is in front of you actually doesn't have power.

It doesn't,

If you,

You know,

If you think it has power,

Then you're believing in two gods essentially.

You're believing in two opposing thoughts that this in front of me that's seemingly real can have power over me.

It's not necessarily true.

And I mean,

This has been proved by people in terrible,

Terrible circumstances.

People who have gained the freedom of truth while being in captivity,

While being in concentration camps,

While being in extreme horrific circumstances and it's like when they have tapped into the freedom that is within them or the truth inside them that they realize then that whatever is going on has no power.

And eventually when you really understand that and allow that to grow within you and allow that to be a remembrance that you come back to every single day,

Then the external things change,

Right?

They cannot,

They cannot stay clothed,

You cannot stay clothed as you are when you change from the inside.

And that's the difference between when you try and purposely manifest something that you think is outside of you,

You know,

And then you,

You know,

You suddenly do,

You manifest the big house,

The big car,

Whatever it is,

And then you have the same financial worries and the same fears or the same problems,

But just at a higher bracket and you haven't changed anything.

So when you actually really can change internally first and,

And be totally okay with what's in front of you.

And like I've had to really practice this this last year.

Like this isn't just coming from me reading some books.

This has come from me living through like the mother of all initiations over the last two years and,

And really having to confront exactly what's in front of me that seemed horrific and learn that there's a truth behind that.

There's a truth behind that that is me,

That is solid and stable and it is I am,

It's the I am presence that we're all after.

You know,

Like my most popular meditation on Insight Timer is,

Is one for I am awareness and it has like infinitely more plays than any of my others,

Right?

So we're all after that.

We're all searching for that,

But it's always in us and it's not a case of having to search,

But a case of like surrendering to the remembrance of it.

And then we can use things like podcasts,

Like talks,

Like,

Like texts,

Like meditations that access this to have,

To have a reminder to come back.

But then ultimately the work is within.

Ultimately the work is up to you to really understand and,

And allow that to open up.

But you know,

Like you're sourced from within,

Right?

And just remembering that the orange isn't the supply.

The orange comes from the tree and there's always more every year there's more and more and more and more and those,

Those oranges go on to produce more and more and more and more.

So like when we tap into this innate supply,

When we tap into this understanding that all supply,

Like God,

Like all supply is within us because we are part of that and we have our own,

We have our own blueprint to emerge and we surrender to that,

Then that's when miracles start to happen.

And more than that,

It's not about,

Like if you do any of this in order to get,

Then you've missed the point and you're still thinking things outside of you.

Like any spiritual practice or anything,

If you're doing it to get something,

Then you've missed the point.

It's all about remembrance and coming back to oneself and just like doing it for the curiosity.

And then you start understanding and you start seeing.

And you know,

I've done this myself.

I've done years of manifestation practices and all sorts of things and had lots of successes and,

And proved too that,

You know,

I took the same problems with me because nothing really changed internally.

And it's only been in the last two years of this like deep initiation that,

That it has clicked for me.

And I think,

You know,

For me it's had to be a very difficult journey because I'm teaching it.

So it's had to,

Like I've had to kind of like hit every stumbling block there is so that I can understand it and,

And figure it out.

And that's just my path,

Right?

So,

But it's understanding that when you really realize that there's nothing poor about you,

There's nothing lacking in you and you just,

You wake up and that's what you feel and that's what you just breathe every single day.

And it's a,

It's,

It's a practice,

Right?

It's a remembrance and coming back to that.

Then it doesn't matter what's in front of you because you're free.

You,

You know the truth and the truth has set you free.

Does that make sense?

There's,

There is a sort of mini part one of this which is worth listening to too.

I apologize if I'm asking this question again but I'm wondering about the soil.

Okay,

Leanne.

So,

I was talking about how like an orange tree doesn't think its supply is its oranges.

It doesn't look at its like branches once the oranges have been picked and go,

Oh my God,

No,

I'm super poor now.

I've got no,

I've got no oranges.

What have I got?

I've got no wealth anymore.

I've got no supply.

Like what am I going to do?

Whereas we would look at our bank account empty and panic,

Right?

And do the exact same thought process.

But imagine that that's a tree and he's looking at his empty branches having had the apple,

The oranges picked and it's not,

It's not freaking out.

It's not basically going,

Oh no,

I've got no more wealth.

My supply is gone.

My oranges have gone.

I've got no more oranges.

Because it just knows that it more will come next year.

It knows its own innate ability to keep supplying and to keep producing and to keep growing.

And then the other piece of this is that like they've done experiments where they literally planted a tree seed in some soil that was weighed and measured and grew a tree and then took the tree away and then weighed and measured the soil again and it hadn't changed.

There was no less soil.

So the tree had taken nothing from the soil in terms of actual density,

In terms of whatever it was.

Like the tree obviously took nutrients from the soil but like whatever it took has been replenished.

There was nothing took away.

So this is again that sense,

You know,

I think some of us believe that if we,

If we have money then we're taking from someone else.

It's not true.

Like we're not,

We're never taking from anyone else.

Like the tree didn't take from the soil.

The soil was still the same.

It was still like able to produce and recreate itself again like in reciprocity with many other microorganisms and organisms.

So it really does show that the supply isn't external.

Like the tree's supply doesn't come externally from it.

It uses the sun.

It uses the water.

It uses the nutrients to support its growth.

But it's essentially,

Its supply comes from within and it comes from the force of life which is God,

Right?

And that is in us too.

It is completely innately in us.

And when we really drop back into this and realize that things like money,

Things like clothing,

Things like cars,

Things like jobs,

Security,

All of these things are just demonstrations of the supply that we believe we are.

And they're demonstrations of the abundance we really truly see in ourselves.

Then we can start to understand and come back to this remembrance that all of those external things have no power.

They're not actually real.

What is real is how abundant do I feel as a soul on this planet right now?

Can I really honestly say I am a gem?

I am a wealth of knowledge or wisdom or love or joy or creativity?

Can you really understand in yourself the wealth that you are?

And coming back continuously to that,

That's your supply.

That is your innate supply of who you are which is infinite because you're part of God.

The week before I talk about imagining God like if all that is is like a tablecloth and then there's bits pulled up like we're the individual bits of consciousness of the same fabric.

So we are part of the whole.

So we are innately infinitely resourced and it's remembering that and remembering that gift that you are here to bring.

Does that make sense?

Thank you.

Yeah.

Okay.

Good.

Awesome.

So yeah.

Come to my profile like listen to some of the meditations.

I've got some lovely morning and evening ones too that are really good for setting up your day.

I might change the music on the evening one though it might be a bit twee.

I quite liked it because it was a bit like a lullaby but I'm not sure.

Thank you everyone for being here.

I'm here every Wednesday at 11.

11 and I do record these and put them up.

Thank you so much for being here.

I hope that's made so much sense and it's just a meditation and to allow that to be like you know allow your curiosity to open to it and don't like get your head out of it.

Like don't keep trying.

When our heads get involved things get a bit icky and messy.

So like one of the things is a good way to do this is to just set that intention of just like oh yeah like can I keep remembering this and just reminding yourself of it and not really trying and then gradually you start to really embody it.

You start to really feel it or you'll have those moments where it's like it clicks and then it's gone again and then it comes again and it clicks and then you know the more you do this and the more you bring curiosity and intention into this the more it opens up and it is it's like allowing the seed of who you are to crack open.

Thanks so much.

I will see you next week hopefully and thank you for all the hearts and the love and the donations and yeah hope it's been useful.

Mwah.

I love you all.

Bye.

Bye.
