Hello,
And welcome to today's New Moon meditation.
The New Moon is a beautiful opportunity to let go of anything that isn't serving you.
To cleanse and renew,
And really be open to receiving guidance.
And before we begin,
Just taking a moment to set an intention for what it is that you wish to let go of.
As we move into the next phase of the Moon cycle.
What energies do you need to clear?
And what guidance do you want to receive?
And once you have decided on your intention,
Just getting comfortable in whichever way feels good for you.
Whether that is lying down comfortably in bed.
Or perhaps sitting upright,
Making sure your back is supported.
Maybe leaning against the wall,
Or sitting upright in a chair.
And just taking a moment to really arrive in this moment,
Exactly as you are.
Grounding yourself in the present.
And letting go of anything that might be occupying your mind.
That you don't need to be thinking about right now.
Taking a deep breath.
And maybe just sighing it out.
Encouraging the release.
The theme of the New Moon energy,
Of letting go,
Of renewal.
And your body knows this wisdom,
Just sometimes the mind needs some help catching up.
Placing a hand on the belly to help encourage the depth of that breath.
This is what we will be staying connected to throughout the meditation.
It is how we encourage the mind and the body to speak to one another.
The breath is the most powerful bridge between these two parts of ourselves.
And as we settle into this deeper breathing and this more settled state of mind.
We ask that the energy of the New Moon cleanses and renews us.
And clears away any energy that is not serving me in accordance with my own highest good.
And so it is.
Noticing if your breathing is becoming deeper.
And if not,
Seeing if you can extend every exhale just a little bit longer.
Maybe breathing in for four counts and exhaling for six,
Seven or eight.
Whatever feels most comfortable and natural for you.
Making sure to not overly exert yourself.
Merely encouraging the body to sink deeper into rest and relaxation.
As this is where we connect with ourselves on a deeper level.
When all of the mental chatter has quietened,
Not disappeared,
But just quietened.
This is when we can hear our intuition more clearly.
And although the New Moon is dark,
It doesn't mean its energy isn't pouring down on us tonight.
And so as we take these deep breaths.
As we send every exhale deep into the belly.
We visualize that dark light.
Light we cannot see,
But we can feel.
Shining down on us.
From the skies.
And as the New Moon energy shines down on us.
As we breathe it into our lungs and into our bellies.
We begin to feel it surrounding us,
Encompassing us,
Holding us in its energy.
And as it does so,
It is cleaning through our aura.
With every breath it is washing away.
Any stagnant or unpleasant energies that might have clung to us.
And as it washes over us,
As this energy cleanses our physical and spiritual bodies.
You also begin to notice that your mind is becoming even more peaceful as we go along.
Even more centered in this moment.
Clearly visualizing the energy of the New Moon surrounding you.
Holding you.
Washing over you.
From the top of your head to the soles of your feet.
It completely renews your energy.
Letting go of the old and welcoming in the new.
Giving you space and opportunity.
To welcome in change,
Progress,
Prosperity,
Abundance,
Health,
Joy.
Whatever it is that you want to call in.
The New Moon energy is slowly and gently paving the way for this potential to be met.
And eventually you will feel that your aura has been cleansed enough.
Your breathing feels deep and slow.
And your soul feels really centered.
This is a perfect opportunity to ask your guides,
Your higher self,
Or whatever energetic beings you believe in.
God,
The Goddess,
The Universe.
You've arrived in a place where you can ask for guidance from them.
Asking where your attentions should be focused for the next lunar cycle ahead.
Now that the New Moon has allowed you to let go.
What needs to be welcomed in moving forward?
And as you ask,
Still continuing to focus on your breathing.
On the depth of every breath.
Maintaining a strong sense of openness to whatever messages come forward.
Whether they're from your higher self or other energetic beings.
Trusting any sensations in your body are truth and are messages for you to discern and understand.
Also knowing that some messages might not make complete sense to you right now.
But that eventually all will become clear to you in divine timing.
Also accepting any emotions that might come up.
Or maybe some distracting thoughts have decided to appear once more.
But remember that the breath brings you back.
But remember that the breath brings you back.
This is your time for yourself to reconnect,
To reconfigure,
To realign.
And understand yourself a little bit more on a deeper level.
Now you can choose to stay in this deeply receptive state.
For as long as you like.
You might have even fallen asleep.
These words speaking gently to your subconscious self.
Either way,
We take this moment to thank the new moon for its cleansing energy.
For its help in us connecting to our higher selves and energetic beings.
We thank any guides that came forward,
Any ancestors.
And we let them go with love and gratitude to meet them again in another time.
Perhaps at the full moon.
Beginning to breathe normally.
Wiggling the toes,
Wiggling the fingertips.
Bringing the attention back to the physical body.
Or maybe staying lying down a little bit longer.
Process any messages that came forward.
Thank you for showing up for yourself today.
Your presence and existence is appreciated and valued always.
