Lesson 1
Understanding Anxiety Through Compassion
In this opening session, you'll begin exploring anxiety through a different lens, one of understanding and compassion rather than judgment and criticism. Together, we'll explore the purpose of anxiety within the nervous system, why it arises, and how meeting it with kindness can begin to shift your relationship with it. Through a guided meditation, you'll be invited to connect with your experience in a gentler way and lay the foundation for the journey ahead.

Lesson 2
Returning To The Present Moment
Anxiety often pulls us out of the present and into imagined futures filled with “what if” thoughts and uncertainty. In this session, you’ll learn how anxiety shifts your awareness away from the now and how gently returning to the present moment can begin to soften its intensity by using your breath as an anchor. This is the beginning of learning how to come home to yourself, moment by moment, and some of these practices will be further expanded upon later on in the course.

Lesson 3
Internal Safety & The Inner Sanctuary
Many people experiencing anxiety find themselves constantly searching for safety in external circumstances, through certainty, reassurance, control, or outcomes. In this session, you’ll begin exploring a different kind of safety: one that is built within yourself.
Through teaching and guided practice, you’ll be supported in understanding the difference between external and internal safety, and how self-support, self-compassion, and inner presence can begin to create a steadier foundation within. You’ll be guided through a meditation designed to help you connect with an inner sense of safety that is not dependent on what is happening around you, but instead rooted in your own capacity to be with yourself - in your very own inner sanctuary.
This is the beginning of learning how to become your own safe place.

Lesson 4
Untangling Fear
In this session, you’ll begin learning how to relate to anxious thoughts differently, without becoming consumed by them. Through teaching and guided practice, you’ll explore how anxious thinking works, why thoughts can feel so real in moments of fear, and how awareness creates space between you and the mental stories you experience. You’ll be supported in learning how to observe thoughts without needing to engage, fix, or believe every one that arises.
This session helps you begin stepping out of mental spirals and into a clearer sense of awareness, where thoughts can be seen as passing events rather than truths you must act on, and explores practices we touched on earlier in the course.

Lesson 5
Releasing And Uncovering Emotion
Today's session may feel emotionally activating, so please be mindful of your capacity for this teaching. Anxiety is often only the surface layer of what is happening internally. Beneath anxious thoughts and physical tension, there can be emotions that have not been fully felt or expressed, feelings that were too overwhelming at the time, or not safe to process.
In this session, you’ll gently explore the emotional layer that can exist underneath anxiety. Rather than analysing or forcing release, you’ll be guided to bring awareness to a real anxious experience and notice what may be sitting beneath it, and maybe even where it first began.
Through teaching and guided practice, you’ll learn how anxiety can act as a protective layer over more vulnerable emotions, and how meeting those emotions with presence rather than avoidance can support a sense of softening and release.
This session is about allowing what has been held inside to be acknowledged, felt safely, and gently processed at its own pace.

Lesson 6
Nervous System Regulation With Bilateral Stimulation
In this session, you’ll be introduced to bilateral stimulation as a practical tool for nervous system regulation and anxiety support. This technique involves rhythmic, alternating stimulation of both sides of the body or brain, which research suggests may help support emotional processing, reduce physiological arousal, and promote a sense of internal balance. Feel free to return to this practice whenever you are looking to reset and rebalance your nervous system.

Lesson 7
Inner Safety Integration
Rather than aiming to eliminate anxiety, this session supports you in integrating a new relationship with it, one rooted in awareness, self-trust, and internal steadiness. You’ll be guided to reflect on your journey and connect with what it means to return to yourself when anxiety arises, rather than being overwhelmed or defined by it.
This is a closing practice in integration, helping you move forward with a deeper sense of presence, resilience, and inner safety that you can continue to return to in everyday life.
