Hello and welcome to this meditation for grounding your energy.
For this meditation please find a position where you may have both feet planted on the earth beneath you.
Whether that's sitting in a chair with your feet in contact with the earth or preferably outside with your bare feet touching the ground.
Take this moment to get comfortable taking a deep breath and sighing out with your exhale.
Beginning to take some deeper breaths using the depth and the length of each breath to anchor you into the present moment.
Allowing your body to relax.
Allowing any tension to fall away at your feet.
Feeling the rise and fall of your belly and the weight of your body the weight of your feet on the earth beneath you.
Feeling calm and tranquility and exhaling worry and stress.
Inhaling peace and harmony.
Exhaling discomfort.
There is nothing expected of you in this moment.
There is nowhere that you need to be.
All that is required is your presence.
Noticing the sensation of the air as it enters your nostrils and the warmth of the air as it leaves your body on a slow exhale.
Acknowledging any thoughts that might be arising any distractions that might be wishing to interfere but knowing you can let them go.
With every exhale you release the thoughts that aren't serving you in this moment.
And as you continue to remain connected to your breath closing your eyes and visualizing or feeling energetic roots growing from the soles of your feet.
Imagine that these roots reach deep deep into the earth anchoring you to its stabilizing and supportive energy.
You can feel these energetic roots winding connecting and reaching down into the soil.
Branching out further and further until you feel completely entwined with the earth's energy.
Embracing the stability the strength that the roots bring to your own body.
And with each breath imagining that you are drawing up the earth's energy through these roots up into your body.
You may even feel the tingles as this energy moves up your feet,
Your legs,
Your hips,
Your belly,
Your chest,
Your neck and all the way to the crown of your head.
Allowing this beautiful grounding energy to fill every single part of your being with a sense of stability and connection.
And as you continue to breathe and fully immerse yourself in this grounded state begin to notice any sounds,
Any smells,
Any physical sensations that might be happening around you and inside you at this very moment.
Just noticing without judgment,
Without resistance,
Fully embracing the present moment.
Noticing how strong and steady you feel like an ancient oak tree.
You are one with the earth,
You are one with your mind and body and spirit.
From this state of connection let's take a moment to express some gratitude for something or someone that you are grateful for in this moment.
Feel this gratitude in your heart and allow it to grow and expand with every breath.
Noticing how it fills you with a sense of contentment and appreciation.
How beautiful it feels to be present in the mind and body and to feel such deep gratitude and love all at once.
Noticing the pulsing of the earth's energy as it radiates throughout you.
The heartbeat of mother earth.
And when you're ready beginning to wiggle your toes and your fingertips bringing your awareness back into the space around you.
Knowing that you can go about your day feeling grounded and connected.
Strong and stable in your emotions and in your decisions.
