So good morning.
Let's take our seats.
As you settle into your posture.
You might notice this sensation of this moment,
There's such a Change of season.
Yeah.
Do you notice the change in the temperature of the air in your skin?
Or the,
Just the immediacy of how it is this moment.
The scent in the air.
If you can see the sky,
You might notice the.
.
.
The sound.
Perhaps it's raining.
Let's allow a moment to Recognize the relationship.
Between our experience of this moment as we sit in stillness.
And the world in which we sit.
How we are touched,
How we are impacted.
By our environment.
And so the practice is less of a solitary function.
Or of a co-arising.
In here.
And out there.
I as an individual.
And we as a collective.
Allowing ourselves to be impacted.
To feel.
To be changed.
Outer world and inner world in a dance of co-arising.
Witnessing the in-breath.
A taking in of breath.
Breath from outside of us.
Is taken inside of us.
Becomes us.
And out breath.
Our breath.
He's surrendered.
To the world outside of us.
As you witness your breathing.
Who is it that witnesses?
Who is it that breathes?
Are you being breathed?
Can you watch yourself be breathed?
Hmm.
Mmm.
How is it for you to be the witness?
To witness your breath.
As you are breathed.
As you receive your breath from the trees.
And the soil.
And the ocean.
The Sky.
The oxygen that they offer becomes you.
Moves into the cells.
Brings life.
To the body.
And as a way of keeping perfect.
Equilibrium in the system of your body.
You breathe out.
You exhale.
What's not needed,
What's built up to be too much and so it's released,
The carbon dioxide is released on your exhale.
And it brings life.
To trees.
And soil.
Ocean and sky.
The giving of breath,
The giving of the exhale,
It doesn't cost you anything.
It nourishes you.
Is essential.
To your survival.
It's just a natural way of things.
To receive.
And to give.
It allows everything to stay in balance.
Brings vitality and life.
This mutual co-arising of breath.
Outer world becomes inner world.
And inner world becomes outer.
Offering up the fruits of our practice to ourselves.
Each other.
And to all beings.
Namaste.
