Hello,
My friend.
This is your time to ground back into your body and your heart,
Breathing deeply into this life just as it is right here,
Right now.
Start with a few deep inhales,
Feeling how the breath comes into the body,
Moves down the throat,
Into the chest,
Allowing the belly to be soft and receive each in-breath.
With every exhale,
A release.
Notice where in the body you might have tension,
Tightness,
Or discomfort.
Allow yourself to breathe into it and relax with every exhale.
Become very aware of your body just as it is,
Scanning from the head down,
Face,
Neck,
Shoulders,
Arms,
Upper chest,
Upper back,
Abdomen,
Lower belly,
Hips,
And pelvis.
Scan through the legs,
Knees,
Ankles,
And the feet.
Feel a groundedness to the earth.
And as you scan the body,
Become aware of the sensations there.
Become aware of the vibration.
Notice the sensation of clothing on your skin,
The cool air on your cheeks,
Or the warm sun.
Notice how your feet feel,
Planted on the floor,
Touching the earth.
And revisit the breath,
Feeling the breath as it enters and how it affects the body with every inhale and exhale.
Allow yourself time to revisit the body.
With every inhale,
Fill yourself with a deep understanding of gratitude.
This body carries us throughout our lifetime,
The organs,
The muscles,
The bones that make it possible for us to sustain our lives.
And feel that groundedness to earth that reminds us we are held here,
Stable,
Steady.
