I'm Rev Skip,
And welcome to Wellness as a Way of Life.
This is a series of four meditations to allow you to set an intention for your wellness.
This first meditation focuses on the mindset,
So I invite you to get comfortable.
You can do this meditation seated,
Lying on your back,
Or standing.
I invite you to get into a posture that will allow you to connect with your body temple.
So if you're ready,
Let's begin.
I invite you to close your eyes if that's comfortable for you.
Let's begin with some centering breaths.
Take a deep breath in through your nostrils,
And a deep exhale,
Very slowly releasing the breath.
Let's do that again.
Take a nice deep breath in through our nostrils,
And a deep exhale.
How about one more time?
Take a nice deep breath in through our nostrils,
And let's exhale through the mouth,
Allowing each breath for you to become more connected with your body temple.
Soften your jaw,
Your temple,
Your shoulders,
Relaxing your body right where you are,
And continue to follow your breath.
With each of these meditations,
We will begin with the Oath of Wellness.
I invite you to repeat after me aloud or silently.
Let's begin.
I will meet my body right where I am.
I will love my body right where I am.
I will allow healing to begin now.
I am whole and complete from the start.
I will not judge myself or accept judgments from others.
And take that in.
So as we go through a journey of the mindset,
I will ask you to contemplate two questions.
As you continue to follow your breath,
I invite you to contemplate the first question.
What limited beliefs about my wellness am I holding on to?
A second question in this contemplative meditation,
How can I begin to see myself in a more empowered and loving light?
Let's ask the question again.
How can I begin to see myself in a more empowered and loving light?
How can I begin to see myself in a more empowered and loving light?
So here's some affirmations.
Again you can repeat the affirmations to yourself aloud or silently.
I will release all limited beliefs that no longer serve me.
I will release all limited beliefs that no longer serves me.
I am worthy of a healthy body and a joyful life.
I am worthy of a healthy body and a joyful life.
I embrace a positive self-image and see myself as whole and complete.
I embrace a positive self-image and see myself as whole and complete.
I trust the process of transformation and I'm open to change.
I trust the process of transformation and I'm open to change.
Take a nice deep breath in through our nostrils.
Hold at the very top.
Allow the affirmation to connect with you and your breath and a big exhale.
Thank you so much for joining me on this meditation.
Remember transformation is a choice.
Namaste.
