Welcome.

My name's Simonette,

And I'll be guiding you on a very beautiful inner journey,

One that opens you to the possibility of letting go of all those everyday stresses and strains and being able to connect into that deep inner peace that is there with you wherever you go,

But sometimes we lose connection with it.

So I'd like you to position yourself comfortably,

And as you rest back there now,

Closing your eyes and connecting in with my voice,

I'd like you to focus on your breathing.

Notice the pace of your breath and the rise and fall.

Body feeling more and more relaxed as we go along.

That's good.

I'd like you now to bring your attention to the top part of your head,

And as you scan from the top part of your head all the way down to your feet,

I'd like you to imagine that there's a beautiful,

Warm energy or light that's shining through your body,

Seeking out all those aches and pains or darker spaces there,

And putting some light,

Energy,

Calming and soothing all the way through your body to the very tips of your toes.

And I'd like you to do that three times in your own pace there from the top part of your head,

Scanning through,

And as you do,

That energy and that light,

Soothing,

Calming,

Muscles relaxing all the way down through to the soles of your feet,

And any energy just pushed out through the soles of your feet.

That's good.

Okay,

And now just bringing your attention again to the area of your chest and that rise and fall,

Soothing and calming.

And I'd like you to get that sense of that rise and fall reminding you of the ocean.

And there is that constant ebb and flow rise and fall of the waves.

So I'd like you to notice what is the weather like as you imagine your ocean,

Windy,

Calm,

Blue skies,

Gray.

Just notice,

It's not right or wrong,

Just how it appears to you,

Your first idea.

As you imagine yourself looking out,

At the wide expanse of ocean.

And I'd like you to notice how you feel at the moment when you look out at that ocean and how with our thoughts,

We often get in this turbulence and sometimes the waves are really high or there might be a rip.

It's taking us to a different area,

Somewhere we don't wanna be.

And so I think our thoughts can be like the ocean and they can be changeable depending on outside influences,

People we might be with,

Conversations we may have had.

And so you might have some of those in your mind,

They might have been concerning you.

And I'd like you to think about that in terms of,

If you were able to dive down deep into that ocean,

If it was safe for you to dive down deep,

To go beneath the currents,

Current trends of thought,

To go beneath that,

Like a scuba diver.

As you dive down deep,

You reach the bottom of the ocean,

The bed.

And as you rest there,

What do you notice?

It is calm,

It's quiet,

The stillness.

I'd like you to explore that stillness.

As you rest there,

Right at the bottom.

And so in this way,

When you meditate,

When you have this time out,

You can drift comfortably and easily,

Diving down when you're ready,

Diving down to the very base,

The floor.

The bed.

Where it's still and quiet.

And notice how that is for you,

Right now,

Being in that stillness.

Beautiful place.

Breathing easily and comfortably.

And it's from this place that you can hear your own voice,

A quiet voice,

Your wisdom.

And so that is a gift for you in that quiet,

Still time.

I'd like you to rest in that silence now,

In that quiet,

Peaceful place.

And I'll let you know when it's time to come back.

And so as you connect with your breathing,

You notice that rise again of your breath.

And so with each rise of your breath,

You feel yourself coming back,

Gently,

Slowly,

Back up to the surface.

Trusting that rise of your breath,

Coming up.

Coming up with a full heart,

Coming up to the surface.

That's good.

And as you feel your face in the air,

Can feel the sense of tingling sensation.

Take in a nice deep breath.

That's good.

And then just wriggling your fingers,

Coming back fully alert and refreshed and ready for your everyday activities.

Thank you.
