Welcome to this meditation to meet yourself as you are.
This guided meditation has been designed to support you from running,
Distracting or numbing,
And provide you with support to hold space for yourself.
True power comes from our willingness to feel the full spectrum of emotion.
As you find the courage to drop into physical stillness,
You may begin to notice the motion within,
The thoughts,
Sensations and energy that are constantly in flux.
So repeat after me,
I give myself permission to feel all of my feelings because they are not wrong.
I am safe and supported,
Protected and guided.
I am not alone.
Bring your awareness now to your breath.
Notice the depth,
Rhythm and rate.
Notice where in your body your breath is travelling to.
Notice where in your body is resisting receiving the breath.
See if you can send this breath down into the constriction to reveal what's being concealed.
Beginning to take conscious somatic breaths,
Using your muscular engagement to breathe into these restricted spaces,
Like taking ownership of what's here.
Inhale,
Breathe into it,
Sending life force.
Exhale,
Allow it to be released.
The breath is a mirror for the mind and the energies we are housing.
Emotions are nothing more than energy in motion.
Like everything in life,
They desire to fulfil their purpose and to be felt.
What you resist persists.
When you release the judgement and blame,
Instead calling in compassion and patience,
These energies will naturally flow through you and be released.
So receive all your emotions like a gift from the universe,
Allowing them to move through you so you can return to the bliss,
Peace and joy that you deserve and desire.
Remember that the best way to prepare for the future is to be truly present now.
And when you stop and make space for what is,
There is never anything you cannot handle.
