Hello and welcome to this meditation called Creating Space for What Matters.
Take a deep breath and sit in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes and allow yourself to settle into this moment.
We're going to begin by reflecting on the idea of space.
Not just physical space,
But mental and emotional space as well.
If you are someone who feels overwhelmed or fearful at the idea of creating space,
Whether it's because of mess,
Clutter or just the thought of change,
Take a moment to acknowledge that fear.
It's okay.
You are not alone in feeling this way.
The fear of space often arises from a sense of loss or confusion about what we might need to give up.
Perhaps there is a belief that letting go of clutter means letting go of a part of you that you want to hold on to and protect.
Or that an organized space may feel too unfamiliar or out of reach.
Maybe you have started to identify with the clutter around you and decluttering creates a sense of confusion.
So allow yourself to acknowledge this fear without judgment.
You don't need to fix it right away,
But just recognize it as part of your experience in this moment.
And now I invite you to imagine that you are standing in a space that is completely your own.
And if possible,
I invite you to stand in the middle of your room and feel the space around you.
Visualize it clearly.
This is your safe,
Organized environment designed just for you.
And notice how this space makes you feel.
Notice the lightness in the air.
Notice the calm,
Uncluttered surfaces.
Notice the peaceful quiet of everything in its place.
Notice the ease of movement with nothing weighing you down.
This is a space where everything feels in harmony.
Your personal space,
Your haven,
Holds only what you truly need and love.
It's a place where you feel free,
Not bound by the excess of clutter or overwhelmed by the chaos.
If this space feels too difficult to imagine,
Take small steps with your mind.
Perhaps you can see just one area,
One tidy corner,
A peaceful nook or a shelf where everything is organized.
This small,
Manageable space is yours,
And it brings you a sense of relief and comfort.
You can breathe here.
You can feel at ease here.
And now I invite you to notice how your body responds to this vision.
Do you feel lighter,
More relaxed?
Do you feel a sense of joy or possibility of release?
Allow yourself to savor this feeling of spaciousness because this is what is possible for you.
Remember,
This space is not about perfection,
But about making room for what truly matters to you.
It is a space where you can find rest,
Clarity and peace.
There is no rush,
No pressure to do it all at once.
It's about taking small,
Meaningful steps towards this vision.
And join me in saying it out loud.
I create space for myself,
A space where I am free to be,
To breathe and to thrive.
This space is mine,
And I trust that I can bring it into my life little by little.
By addressing the fear head on and helping you visualize a space that feels safe and nurturing,
The meditation becomes an empowering invitation to start small and embrace the idea of space as a tool for growth and healing.
Thank you so much for joining me today and I wish you a wonderful day ahead.
Salaam.
