In this meditation we will focus on harnessing the power of your mind to create powerful positive changes in your life.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
Gently rest your hands on your knees and lengthen your spine.
Relax your shoulders and just partially close your eyes,
Allowing yourself to be present in this moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your nose.
Again deep breath in and a slow gentle exhale.
As you sit here with each breath you become more present,
Leaving behind what came before this moment.
You let go of any distractions from the day as you focus on your breath.
Now with each inhale invite clarity and focus into your mind.
With each exhale you release any tension or stress.
Now I want you to pick a specific part of your life that needs some improvement or a different perspective.
Maybe it's something to do with your health,
Job,
Relationships or any other aspect.
How do you feel when you think about it?
Just observe these emotions without judgment.
Now let's identify a negative thought or belief that relates to this area of your life.
Is this thought based on facts or just false beliefs?
Think about it,
Challenge it and try to see the situation from a more positive angle.
For example,
If you catch yourself thinking I can't handle this,
Just take a deep breath and replace it with I can find a way to manage this.
Repeat this a few times.
Replace any negative thinking such as I can't handle this with I can find a way to manage this.
Finally,
Visualize a specific goal or outcome that you want to achieve in this area of your life.
Use all of your senses,
Imagine what you would see,
Hear,
Feel and even smell in this successful scenario.
Take a few moments to really immerse yourself in this visualization,
Feeling happy and fulfilled as you see yourself achieving your goal.
Again,
Imagine what you would see,
Hear,
Feel and even smell if you had this goal or outcome in your life.
Let this vision bring you joy and a sense of accomplishment.
Repeat the following affirmation to yourself,
Silently,
I have absolute clarity on what I want to happen and I take proactive steps to make it happen.
Now make it a whisper and repeat,
I have absolute clarity on what I want to happen and I take proactive steps to make it happen.
