We all have invisible strings,
Connecting us to fears that are not even real,
Little monsters we have created within our minds.
Our strings make us rigid,
They pull us towards the past,
They drain our energy and we eventually lose our mobility like puppets.
Our freedom of movement and of thought,
Of body and mind is limited and conditioned by these unnecessary strings.
These strings we need to cut with the dagger of courage.
Sit or lay down in a comfortable position.
Close your eyes.
Feel yourself relax.
Feel the tension in the muscles releasing.
Feel the skin of your skull relaxing.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your tongue.
Relax your eyebrows.
Relax your forehead.
Allow your shoulders to drop down.
Release the tension from your forearms.
Allow your sit bones to sink into the earth,
Rounding.
Let go of all the unnecessary heaviness you carry.

Now bring awareness to your breath.
As you take deep breaths,
The energy starts flowing down into your body,
From the head down to your toes and back into the universe.
Feel with every breath more and more energy cascading down.

Calming and soothing.
As you find yourself more and more relaxed,
Allow your breathing to become deeper and deeper until you feel like one with the rhythm of the universe.
Observe your chest rise and fall as you hear my voice softly in the background of your mind.
I want you to imagine yourself holding a shiny golden dagger in your right hand.
The golden dagger is able to cut through any string from any realm.
Look within your gentle heart and visualize five strings.
The five strings and mirror are five fields.
The strings of repression have made your heart their home.
The strings are like weeds growing in a garden of flowers,
Slowly absorbing all the nutrients and consuming their eternal color.
Only you can release yourself from these strings,
It is in your hands.
Gain courage to cut the strings.
Be aware they do not belong in your heart.
Take three gentle and deep breaths.

Cut down the first string.
Imagine the golden dagger cutting through the string and in that simple moment,
Take a deep breath as you let go of what no longer serves you.
All these fears are illusionary,
Created by the mind.
The second string is right in front of your eyes,
Cut down swiftly and allow light to take its place.
Focus on your breath as you observe your chest rising and falling.
The third string is at reach.
Your body is now lighter,
You move with more confidence.
Cut the string and pick it up from the ground.
Ahead of you is the silver river.
Look towards the river and place the string into the water.
Love it silently as the string takes it away.
String number four is waiting.
Face your fear as you would a wild animal.
Look into its eyes,
Do not look away.
Cut away the string with your golden dagger and repeat after me.

As you cut the fifth and final string,
Notice how your body becomes lighter.
