Begin by settling into your body.
Let the ground receive you.
There's nothing you need to fix,
Nothing you need to achieve.
Just notice that you are here.
Take a slow breath in through the nose and release it softly through the mouth.
Again,
Inhale and let the exhale be unhurried.
Imagine now that you are resting beside still water.
The air is warm.
There's no urgency here.
Floating on the surface of the water is a lotus flower.
Closed.
Complete exactly as it is.
This lotus has never rushed its opening and has never questioned when.
It opens only when it feels safe to.
As you breathe,
Feel yourself becoming like the water beneath it.
Steady,
Supportive,
Present.
With each breath,
One petal of the lotus begins to soften.
Not forced,
Not pried open,
Just responding to safety.
Feel that same softening in your body now,
In the jaw.
You are not opening to effort.
You are opening to support.
Another petal unfurls.
Light gathers at the center of the flower,
Soft,
Iridescent,
Alive.
This light is trust.
Not trust that demands proof,
But trust that exists simply because you are held by life.
Let yourself receive that light.
Let it move gently into your chest,
Your womb,
Your breath.
You are allowed to open softly.
You are allowed to receive without reaching.
The lotus continues to bloom,
Petal by petal,
Until it is fully open,
Radiant,
Grounded,
Unafraid.
Nothing was taken from it to make this happen.
Nothing was earned.
It simply remembered how to open.
Rest here for a few breaths.
Let yourself be held by the softness.
Know that you can return to this opening anytime,
With one breath,
With one pause.
When you're ready,
Gently bring awareness back to your body.
Carry the softness with you.
Trust knows how to bloom.
