
Hypnobirthing Practice

This practice is for anyone who has a breach baby and would like to help the baby to turn and get in the perfect position for birth. Powerful and effective and enjoyable. Relax everything is in order. Your baby can easily turn for you and go into the ideal position for birth.
Transcript
I want you to screw up your face nice and tight.
Hold it for a few seconds and relax it.
Now scrunch up your shoulders,
Hold and relax.
Now tense up your arms and your torso,
Your stomach area,
Your thighs,
Your calves,
Your feet and relax.
You are here listening to the sound of my voice,
Perhaps wondering how it is that you are going to go into relaxation mode.
As you listen to these words I would like you to focus your gaze on an imaginary spot on the ceiling.
I would like you to close your eyes and now slowly open them.
Continue to open your eyes and close your eyes.
In this way until your eyes feel so heavy that it would be easier and more comfortable to just let them remain closed.
Whether your eyes are closed or open I would like you to keep your focus on that spot on the ceiling.
Keep your eyes fixed in position and imagine that you are still gazing at that spot.
Have you noticed just how relaxed your breathing has become?
It feels so good to just breathe easy and to just let go,
To let go of that old used up air.
Have you noticed the way your chest sinks down as you exhale?
Now sink down into that feeling.
Sink down and just let go,
Disappearing,
Going deeper into that experience.
Now that your eyes are closed I would like you to continue listening to the sound of my voice.
As you continue to relax down in a few short moments you will be so completely relaxed and comfortable that it will be easy for you to go into trance.
As you go into trance you will still hear my voice.
You are still able to think thoughts but you do not have to think them.
As you listen to the sound of my voice you may like to imagine your thoughts floating away as though they are tied to a helium balloon that carries them effortlessly into the distance.
As you relax I wonder if you can recall how does it feel when you are so completely relaxed that you lose awareness of your body?
Or perhaps what it's like when you are so comfortable,
So snuggled and warm that you can sink right down into that comfort.
And maybe sometimes when you listen so intently,
So intently to what someone is saying everything else seems to melt away.
And as you listen to this voice now perhaps you can imagine how does it feel as all of your tensions melt away allowing you to sink right down into this comfortable feeling.
Allow your exhalation breath to bring you deeper and deeper into a relaxed state.
Inhale through the nose and exhale.
Let go.
Your mind is completely open to all suggestions I will give you throughout this session.
And as I make suggestions you may see,
Feel or experience images in whatever way you like.
There is no right or wrong way to experience images or suggestions.
Just know that what you experience is right for you.
Trust your inner mind because it always knows just what you need.
Today I'd like you to get in touch with the feeling of confidence.
I'd like you to remember a time when you felt confident.
Some time when you were very pleased with something you had done or achieved.
Some like to remember the first time they rode a bike.
Others remember time when they won an award or passed an exam or landed a job.
Others like to remember the time they got married or perhaps when you fell in love for the first time.
And when you can remember some time where you felt confident just smile now and remember how you felt.
See what you saw then,
Hear what you heard then and feel what you felt then until those great old feelings come flooding back again and you're really smiling now remembering this special time.
That's fine.
Just relax and listen to the sound of my voice.
You're doing fine.
To help you relax I would like you to imagine you were sitting at the ocean listening to the waves coming in and out on a wonderful summer's day with this smile on your face.
You were in a safe and relaxing place where you are free to really relax and enjoy the environment.
You are safe and secure here safe to relax completely and no matter how deeply you go into trance my voice will go with you.
As you find your comfortable place to rest and listen to my voice you can begin to allow any tensions to simply melt away as though they are simply dripping out of your body and soaking down into the earth.
That's fine.
And now that you've become completely relaxed I want you to bring your full attention to your womb where your unborn baby is getting ready soon to come into this world and what a truly amazing moment that will be holding your own precious baby in your arms at last and for your baby to feel safe and protected by you again after the journey into this life.
Your baby already knows you so well even more than you realize at present.
You have been communicating with each other every moment on a subconscious level and your unborn baby is sensitive to any emotional changes that occur in your body through the nourishment it receives via the placenta.
Go deeper inside now.
You've already had scans and have seen your baby and now you can imagine your baby so healthy and strong.
You're aware that the position that your baby is in needs a slight movement for a comfortable birth and although of course it's very possible that the position will naturally change as your pregnancy progresses.
You can now help this along by communicating gently and lovingly with your unborn baby.
As you're unsure of how much of a language your unborn baby can understand right now you're going to use primal language or a universal language as that is the language of instinct and that language is by using images because long before speech evolved we had to communicate by other means even telepathically literally showing people what we wanted them to do or sending them messages from our mind to theirs and this is entirely possible right now.
Trust your baby will understand exactly what you're communicating now.
Show your baby now how to turn slightly into a new position.
You might want to imagine that you're also an unborn baby and that you're in the womb with your baby.
Let your baby know how to turn and perhaps guide your baby using your hand gently on your womb now.
Imagine yourself turning around into a very comfortable position for birth head down.
You may want to actually turn now and really make this a vivid and clear message.
Take a moment to do this.
Fantastic.
Ask your baby to turn like you just did now again using your hand to guide.
Help and reassure nice and gentle.
Imagine your baby turning now.
This will send the message from your mind to theirs.
Trust your baby understands what you've communicated and know that your baby is of infinite intelligence as you are too.
Now from your heart send out blessings of love and warmth to your unborn baby.
Take a moment to feel this love move directly from your heart to theirs and say in your mind I bless my baby with pure love and light.
Understand you may need to demonstrate this several times or once maybe just enough to.
There's no hurry and we can just relax at any time and enter this stage and keep guiding your baby again and again until you actually feel your baby moving into the correct position for birth.
In order to enter into self hypnosis all you need to do is to find yourself somewhere comfortable to rest.
Close your eyes inhale deeply and as you exhale let go of your body and doing this several times you can again go to your room and guide your unborn baby around sending feelings of loving warmth from your heart directly to your precious baby.
I bless my baby with pure love and light.
Let's go now into the future and it's the big day your baby will be born.
You're so happy and your baby is in the perfect position for birth now.
You're completely at ease and you can manage your contractions really well.
You're so happy and grateful your baby is in the perfect position for birth now.

You know how to relax and melt into your body.
Using your exhale breath you expand your womb and in this way all is opening up so easily.
You're so surprised to hear that your 10cm dilated as is everybody else.
You're smiling and your jaw is relaxed and you allow your body to give a final push.
Just imagine now you see the baby's head is born and then the body and your baby is in your arms.
You feel like laughing.
You can't stop smiling and you're holding your baby tenderly in your arms.
You're already so in love with this baby and this bond naturally strengthens as you feel all that love and protection emanate through your entire being.
Gently touching those tiny fingers.
Feel them curling around you.
The softest skin as you gently caress your baby.
Those wondrous eyes as it looks up into yours.
Experience this now.
Feel those feelings of absolute joy and gratitude.
Because when the time comes for your baby to be born this is exactly how it will be.
And you'll feel so much pride in yourself like so many women who went before you.
Knowing how powerful you are now and that you did exactly what you decided to do and you helped your baby's entry into this world to be so comfortable and gracious.
Now in a few moments I'm going to count from one to five and at the count of five you'll be wide awake,
Refreshed and alert.
Remembering that you can return to self-hypnosis at any time by simply focusing on your breath and deeply relaxing.
And then when you are completely relaxed guiding and communicating to your baby to turn into the perfect position for a comfortable and easy birth.
One.
Beginning to wiggle your toes and your fingers.
Two.
Move your neck from side to side.
Three.
Bring your arms way overhead.
Interlock your fingers.
Pointing your toes.
Big stretch.
Four.
Turn over to your right side.
Five.
Take a few breaths there.
And wide awake.
Opening your eyes feeling refreshed and invigorated.
