Thank you so much for joining me for this poem that I'd like to share with you before moving into a quiet,
Guided practice.
The poem is called Enough.
When I wake in the morning from forgotten dreams,
I remember that I am enough.
When I take my first breath of the day,
Inhaling dawn's wondrous light into my lungs,
I remember I am enough.
And when I eat a meal with the chance to share with others,
I know that there is enough.
As I walk the desert floor with cacti,
Finch,
Sparrow,
And hawk,
I feel the light,
The space,
The air around me,
And know that we are enough.
When I hold hands with a loved one,
Seeing all their joys and sorrow,
Strengths and faults,
In being human,
I know that they are enough.
And when it is time to say goodbye to my animal companion,
My friend who has walked at my side day after day,
I know that it was enough.
When our world struggles,
Fighting tooth and nail,
Believing at times that there is never enough,
That is when it is time to say enough is enough.
And when I lie down once more at night before falling deep into sleep,
I am grateful for all I have learned throughout the day,
I am enough.
For when we understand that all that is given to us is given by the divine source of all things,
And that it is enough forever and for all,
Then we can remember,
I am enough,
You are enough,
We are enough,
And there is always more than enough for all here on earth to share.
I'll have you gently close your eyes,
Taking a deep breath in,
And exhaling,
And once more taking a deep breath in,
And exhaling.
I'll have you take this moment to reflect on,
In what ways you are enough for this world,
In what ways the world is enough for you.
And allowing all the images,
Smells,
Sounds,
Memories to move up through you,
Surrounding you,
Reminding you of your place in this world as enough.
Allow yourself to experience this now in this silence.
I'll have you take this moment to reflect on,
In what ways the world is enough forever and ever.
And taking a deep breath in,
Inhaling,
And exhaling fully,
Bringing this awareness into the rest of your day,
Reminding yourself that all that's around you is enough in this moment.
I'm grateful that you've joined me for this time,
Wishing you a beautiful and blessed day.
Namaste.
