Greetings Goddess,
Allow yourself to find a quiet and comfortable place to enjoy this meditation.
I'll be taking you through a list of body positive affirmations to remind us of the goodness and greatness of the vessel our spirit being inhibits.
Let's start this meditation by placing one hand over your heart and one hand over your belly.
Maybe you're seated in a cross-legged posture with your spine straight but not stiff or maybe you're laying on your back.
I want you to take a deep inhale through your nose and as you release,
Allow the breath to sigh audibly out of your body.
Just settle in here and be reminded and assured that this is the only moment that actually exists.
Sometimes we can move into a space where we're not very kind to ourselves with our dialogue,
Internal,
External,
With the things that we say and how we treat ourselves especially when it comes to our bodies.
The focus of this meditation is for you to remember your body's function and for you to know how hard she works for you.
Even though I sometimes judge my body for the way that I am shaped,
I still love and accept myself wholly and completely.
Even though I find that I may judge if my body looks too soft or too masculine,
I still love and accept myself wholly and completely.
Even though I see other bodies and find myself making comparisons,
I still love and accept myself wholly and completely.
May I know that my body is a vessel.
I am a spiritual being having a human experience.
This body takes me through this life.
It allows me to be a unique expression in the world.
It allows me to be a familiar face to those whom I know and love.
May I know that I deserve to love my body because in this life it's the only one that I get.
May I always remember how hard my body works for me.
May I think about all of the intricate parts of my body,
The true machine that she is,
The heart that pumps the blood,
The stomach that digests the food I eat,
The lungs that facilitate how I inhale all of the oxygen that I breathe,
My feet for the integral part that they play in how I walk through this world,
My face for the way that she showcases my uniqueness,
My hands for the way that they open doors,
For the way that they drive my car,
For the way that they rub the ones that I love or pat them on the back when I give them a hug.
Above everything else,
May I learn to love myself wholly and fully,
Day in and day out,
Get exactly as I am while I journey through this life becoming who I'm meant to be.
As we come to a close,
Bring your attention back to the space.
Start to awaken your body and know that you are beautiful.
