Good morning my dear friends.

Let's begin the day with some soothing words of affirmation.

To get the absolute most benefit out of these words,

I encourage you to quiet your mind,

Relax your body,

And close your eyes if it is safe and helpful to do so.

Posture yourself toward an attitude of non-judgment and gratitude,

And allow a spirit of peace and loving kindness to wash over you and flow through you.

Take a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in.

Pause for a moment and then slowly let it out.

Take another deep breath or two if needed.

When ready,

And whenever it feels natural,

Say these words to yourself.

I am light.

I am love.

I am joy.

I am light.

I am love.

I am joy.

You could say these words silently in your head and heart,

Or speak even more power to them by saying them out loud.

What matters is that you say them and that you take a moment to focus on each three-word phrase individually.

And you could say the words on the in-breath,

On the out-breath,

In between the inhale and exhale,

Or even in between breaths,

Whenever it feels natural to you.

Okay,

Once you're ready,

Let's say our words of affirmation again.

I am light.

I am love.

I am joy.

And it doesn't even matter whether you believe these words.

Simply saying them can have a profoundly positive effect on our self-image and our headspace or mindset.

And in time,

We may begin to believe them.

Okay,

Continuing to focus on deep breathing,

Let's say them one more time together.

I am light.

I am love.

I am joy.

I am light.

I am love.

I am joy.

As the guided portion of this meditation comes to a close,

Feel free to spend as much time as you want or need.

Deep breathing and repeating this simple mantra.

I am light.

I am love.

I am joy.
