Day Twenty Two of Lent. This meditation is inspired by Philippians 4:13. During this meditation, and for the third & fourth weeks of this series we meditate upon the Call to Endurance. Where do we draw strength from, when we feel weak? How can we learn to have grace for ourselves in those moments? Let this meditation take you deeper in communion with God. And let this series be an edifying part of your Lent practice.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Hello my fellow hearkeners,

Welcome to day 22 of Lent.

This meditation is a simple encouragement on relying on God's strength when we feel weak.

To begin,

I invite you to close your eyes.

Notice with the simple act of just closing your eyes,

Your mind gets quieter,

Your body becomes more relaxed,

Your spirit becomes more still.

Let's enter this meditation with this spirit of stillness.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

When we are in moments of weakness,

This verse reminds us that we can always rely on God to be our strength.

This opens us up to the power of Christ by which we can accomplish anything.

Let us remember to humble ourselves in these moments and rely on God's strength rather than our own.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I can do all things through Christ through Christ who strengthens me.

Thank you for meditating with me today my fellow hearkeners.

May you be filled with the strength of Christ today.

And as always,

May grace and peace,

Light and love be with you.

Meet your Teacher

Thanks for this wonderful reminder. Timely as I have to be at work earlier this morning and I'm not a morning person! God bless you Sean!
