Hey Harkiners,
Welcome to our Bible Meditations for Mental Health series.
Today's meditation is on shame.
As we enter into meditation.
I invite you.
To close your eyes.
Notice that by simply closing our eyes,
Our minds automatically get quieter.
Our bodies become more relaxed.
Our spirit becomes more still.
Let's enter this meditation with this spirit of stillness.
An attitude of gratitude and non-judgment.
And heart and mindset.
Peace.
And loving-kindness.
Shame is the deep belief that something is wrong with who we are,
Not just with what we've done.
It isolates.
Silences.
In Kilvins Caesars.
That we are unworthy of love.
Belonging.
Of forgiveness.
Shame speaks in shadows.
Yet God speaks in light.
Now.
Let's listen to,
The Word God Speaks.
There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Yeshua.
Romans 8 First one.
There is now no condemnation for those.
Who are in the Messiah.
Yeshua.
Instead of your shame,
You will receive a double portion.
Instead of disgrace,
You will rejoice in your inheritance.
Isaiah chapter 61 verse 7 Those who look to God are radiant.
Their faces.
Are never covered with shame.
Psalm 34 Verse 5 God replaces shame with belonging.
In the Messiah,
Yeshua.
There is no condemnation.
Only forgiveness.
Restoration.
And honor.
Shames his hide.
God says.
Lift your face.
Shame diminishes.
God dignifies.
Where shame once lived.
Radiance rises.
Adonai.
Lift the heavy garment of shame from my heart.
" Remind me.
That I am forgiven.
People love it.
And redeemed.
Let your light make my face radiant again.
Amen.
Thank you for sharing this tender,
Sacred space with me,
Fellow Hearkners.
I look forward to guiding you again soon.
And until then.
.
.
May grace and peace,
Light and love,
Be with you.
