Advent, Day Twenty: The Reason for My Song. (Third Friday of Advent.)

For this third week of Advent, we dwell upon Joy.

This particular meditation is inspired by Exodus 15:2, CEV/NIV, NLT.

This specific passage is a song of celebration the Israelites sang after they escaped the army of a nation that had enslaved them.

Can you think of a time in your life when it felt like you were being delivered by the Divine?

Yechwech gave you unlikely victory.

Let us ruminate on God as our strength and our song,

Our defense and our salvation.

Me still being alive, is a miracle in itself. 🤍
Surrendering myself to God and putting my life in His hands, as I did some years ago, when I was facing Death in the eye from the Devil Himself, God fought my fight, used me as His vessel, and helped me get out from the vicious evildoer that abused me in all imaginable ways.

I am so thankful for God and the Joy He gives me each brand new day, as I see the sun rising each morning, while I take a deep breath of love in, and let out a deep breath of gratitude.
