Advent, Day Six: The Kin-dom of God is Within You. (First Friday of Advent.)

For this first week of Advent, we dwell upon Hope.

This particular meditation is inspired by Luke 17:20-21, GNT.

To begin this meditation, I invite you to light the Advent Candle of Hope, Be Still, Adopt an attitude of Gratitude & non-judgment, & embrace a Spirit of Hope.

Some Pharisees asked Yeshua when the kingdom of God would come.

His answer was,

The kingdom of God does not come in such a way as to be seen.

No one will say,

Look,

Here it is,

Or there it is.

Because the kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God is within you.

I invite you to let your heart and mind soak that in for a moment.

The kingdom of God is within you.

It is in our very midst.

This is what the spirit of Advent is all about.

We await an arrival even as the Messiah comes to tell us that it is here now,

Within us.

The kingdom of God is within you.

The kingdom of God is within you.
