Dear friends,

Let us love one another,

For love comes from God.

Anyone who loves has been born of God and knows God,

Because God is love.

God is love.

Yahweh Shema,

The God who is here,

The ever-present God,

Is here with anyone who seeks love.

Yahweh Shema is here with anyone who seeks love.

If the symbolism of it helps you,

I encourage you to connect your pointer finger to your thumb,

Forming a circle with each hand.

Leave the other three fingers of each hand slightly extended in a natural state.

Turn your hands so they are palm up.

If you want,

You can place your hands on your knees,

Hold them out in front of you,

Or slightly to the side,

Or just whatever is most comfortable and natural for you.

The pointer finger-thumb connection symbolizes connectedness or grounding.

It is a symbol to remind us that we are perpetually connected or grounded to the living God.

The circle itself is a symbol of eternity.

We are eternally connected to the infinite God.

And the other three fingers on each hand symbolize an openness to receive whatever God has for you.

Let us focus on each aspect of those symbols together.

We are connected to the everlasting God,

El Olam,

The ever-present God,

Yahweh Shema,

The everlasting God,

El Olam,

The ever-present God,

Yahweh Shema.

We are born of God,

And God is always with us.

Nothing can separate us.

Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Neither height nor depth nor anything else can pull us apart from the one who loves the cosmos.

There is nowhere we can go from the love of Yahweh.

The love of Yahweh is infinite,

Eternal,

Unconditional.

Receive the love of Yahweh.

Remember that love is why the Advent season exists.

Love is why the Advent season exists.

Receive the love of Yahweh.

I invite you to ask Yahweh Shema if there is a special message or gift for you today.

Something for you to feel personally loved by and connected to the Creator.

Receive the love of El Olam,

Yahweh Shema.

Because Yahweh is love.

Yahweh is love.

And love is the reason for the season.

Love is the reason for the season.

Love is the reason for the season.
