Welcome to my gratitude meditation.
Settle yourself in a comfortable position,
You can lie down on your back or find a seated position crossing your legs,
Slowly close your eyes,
Gratitude soften our edges,
Eases the weight of our worries,
It reminds us the beauty of the ordinary,
It grounds us,
Connect us,
It gives us power,
It gives us resilience.
When we connect with our gratitude,
We open the doors to presence,
To our power,
Into the abundance of life,
Slowly placing your hands on your heart,
And I like to gently press my palms towards the chest to really feel the rhythm of my heartbeat.
Take a moment here to feel the warmth from your chest,
Finding that quiet rhythm of your heartbeat,
This beautiful magic evidence of life.
Now I would love you to express gratitude to this beautiful heartbeat,
Whispering quietly in your mind,
Thank you for beating,
Thank you for carrying me all along,
Connecting with this vibration,
Slowly relaxing your hands back on the side of the body or on your knees,
And shifting the awareness to your breath,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
This beautiful flow of air sustain our life,
It's a powerful life force that never asks anything from us,
But just ask us to receive with love.
As we connect with our breath,
We connect to the cycle of life,
We connect with the present,
Every inhale we receive,
Every exhale we let go,
And today I would like to invite you to express your gratitude for your breath,
Take a deep breath here,
As you exhale,
Whisper,
Thank you for sustaining me.
And now I would like you to think of one little thing in your life,
One thing that makes you smile,
It can be the warmth from the sun,
The taste of your favorite fruits,
The sound of your loved one's laughter,
Or the flower on your way home.
Visualize it becoming this soft glow of gratitude,
Warming your heart,
Warming up your whole body.
Now I would like to invite you to share your gratitude for this little thing,
Whisper,
Thank you for this moment,
Thank you for this gift.
And moving on,
Think of one person in your life,
It can be a family member,
A friend,
A stranger who showed kindness,
Or even someone that challenged you.
Teaching you something deeper about yourself,
Every encounter is a blessing,
Is a lesson.
And today we express gratitude for them showing up in our journey,
Feeling the love,
The light,
Shining through this person.
And together we whisper,
Thank you for being part of my story,
Being part of my life.
Slowly we shift our awareness inwards to ourselves.
When was the last time you say thank you to yourself?
For showing up,
For trying,
For existing,
For staying.
It's easy for us to see beauty,
See light in others.
Today we practice seeing this love within ourselves.
In this space of love and compassion,
We whisper to ourselves,
I love you,
Thank you.
And allow all these words sink into yourself like the rain soaking into the earth.
Feeling the light,
The love,
The wisdom in every word.
And now I would like to invite you to gather all these gratitude,
All these threads of life.
The heartbeat,
The breath,
The small thing,
The person and yourself all together transforming into one strong bright light,
Shining through the center of your heart.
Feeling this warmth,
This love spreading all over your body and radiating outwards to this space and to people around you.
Gratitude reminds us abundance is always present around us,
Within us.
It reminds us the purpose of our life.
And it helps us to connect with ourselves and the present moment.
Take a few deep breaths here.
Feeling this quiet joy of being alive.
This quiet joy of abundance,
Of gratitude.
Everything we've been seeking,
It's already within.
You are loved.
