Sylvia has been practicing singing bowls for 8 years and has been giving sessions in her space in Sheung Wan for the past 3 years. She also is trained for sound therapy where she puts the bowl directly on the body and has special table for those sessions in her space. This recording was focused on the lower chakra's inner body energy. Done in the same calm style as the first, giving space for each bowl to fully ring. Some of the tone sequences were very musical, reminiscent of modern music, and pleasant to listen to. Some of these larger bowls had very unique sonic properties adding multiple levels of complexity to certain combinations. The low tones lull you into a slumber but leave you just under the surface to enjoy the performance. Sylvia's delicate touch and custody of movement render her invisible as if the drops of sounds just magically appear. The soft urban sounds of Sheung Wan, construction, and distant dialog creep into the recordings, giving them character.
