Kia ora,

I am Sarah,

And this meditation is a short energy reset for you to reconnect within,

For you to feel more revitalised and empowered to continue on with your day.

Whether this is sitting yourself up in the morning,

A reset for the meal of the day,

Or in the evening as you make a transition.

I would like to invite you to close your eyes and let's slow down together,

Giving yourself this time here and now to settle into your body,

To be present in the here and now.

We are going to start by taking three deep breaths in together,

Breathing in Akina,

And breathing out Aputa,

Akina,

Aputa,

And inviting the deepest breath you have taken all day and sighing out with sound,

Noticing maybe the ears and shoulders dropping away,

More space between them,

Noticing settling of the breath into the here and now,

And through this state of presence we are going to begin with a body scan,

Bringing your kindness and compassion and fostering a space to witness yourself,

No need to change anything and starting at the head,

Bringing out energy down through our body,

Scanning and noticing.

You might feel tension in some areas as you move down the head,

You might notice that where there was tension,

This witnessing creates a space for some more spaciousness and attention each is on its own,

An intention to hold space for yourself and witness what's present in the body,

Moving down the neck,

The shoulders,

Scanning the body,

Not needing to rush,

Moving our way down the shoulders,

Down the back and the arms,

Down the belly,

Noticing a checking in of your internal world as you scan,

As we move past the gut,

Moving down to the hips,

Transitioning down to the legs,

Bringing an openness and curiosity as to what we might find,

Continuing to scan,

Witnessing and holding space for ourselves just as we are,

No need to change anything,

Moving down past the knees,

Down the legs,

To the feet and from here we are going to go beyond the feet,

Imagining ourselves now as a tree and tree roots growing from beyond our feet,

Anchoring us down into the earth,

Our mother earth who supports each step we take in our life,

Letting these roots go down deep,

Letting them grow far and wide,

And letting them continue down to the depths of the core of the earth and here you find a crystal,

A crystalline core for your roots to wrap around and here absorbing in the love and the care that this great mother holds,

The nurturing,

The witnessing and the holding space for you to flourish,

Letting some of her wisdom,

Grace and energetic presence come back with you,

Absorbed through that crystalline core into your roots,

Now we trace our awareness back up those roots,

Coming back up,

All the way to meet our feet,

Coming into presence here on this side of the earth,

A renewed strength,

Knowing that she has always got us,

Bringing your attention to scan back up your body,

Moving from your feet to your legs,

Past your knees and hips and coming to reside a moment at your heart space,

Inviting you if it feels comfortable to place one hand on your heart and to feel that energetic link to that crystalline core,

That loving heart space of the mother that you are always connected to,

The great mother supporting your journey here on earth and we'll finish with three deep breaths in together,

Clearing anything else that is not yours to hold on to on the exhale and breathing in love on the inhale,

Breathing in Akina,

Breathing out Abhuta,

Akina,

Abhuta and our last breath,

The deepest breath you've taken all day and sighing out the sound Aang,

Then slowly starting to wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Bringing yourself back to the present moment,

Reconnected within,

Revitalised and empowered for your journey ahead.
