A real-time meditation for when you feel stuck, frozen, or unable to engage with life. This isn’t about fixing or pushing through. It’s about being with what’s here, feeling the body, noticing the mind, and letting the truth of your experience unfold without judgment. For anyone lying in bed, feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or disconnected, you are not alone. This is a meditation from inside the freeze. From inside the feeling. Join me as we stay with it together.

Being frozen.

A meditation for when you can't move.

This is a meditation for when you're frozen.

When you feel stuck,

Unable to move,

Or like life is happening far away from you.

Maybe you're in bed right now,

And that is totally okay.

You don't have to get up for this one.

You don't have to do anything.

Just listen.

Just be here with me.

Let yourself rest wherever you are.

Feel your body.

Feel into your body.

Not to fix it or change it,

But just to notice what it's like to be you right now.

The breath is moving.

Sensation is happening.

Nothing else is required.

All the work is being done for you.

Just relax into that.

Sitting with it.

The feeling.

Deep in the belly.

It echoes in the chest.

Up and down.

Up and down.

Like vibrating energy.

Colliding.

Shifting.

Clashing.

It's damn uncomfortable.

Just feel it.

Stay with it.

Don't ignore it.

Don't suppress it.

Don't deny it.

The minute you do,

You indulge it.

And before you know it,

You become it.

My story.

My drama.

My emotion.

The narrative takes over,

And the sense of a concrete self strengthens.

And this is the space where more damage is done.

So just do nothing.

Just do nothing.

Feel it.

Feel your body.

Sit with it.

The feeling.

Deep in the belly.

Echoing in the chest.

Up and down.

Up and down.

Like vibrating energy.

Colliding.

Shifting.

Clashing.

It's damn uncomfortable.

Just stay there.

Do nothing.

Nothing.

Feel.

It hurts.

It's viscerally painful.

But the longer you stay,

The more it comes and goes.

Comes and goes.

And soon,

It settles.

You didn't make a story out of it.

You didn't let it rule your actions.

It didn't weaken your capacity like it has so often in the past.

That's the freedom.

That is the freedom.

Sitting with it.

The feeling.

Deep in the belly.

Echoing in the chest.

Up and down.

Like vibrating energy.

Colliding.

Shifting.

Clashing.

It's damn uncomfortable.

So you do nothing.

Nothing.

Sit.

Feel.

Hurt.

That's the freedom.

Not being ruled by the feeling.

Feeling the feeling.

Feel the feeling.

And do nothing with it.

No medicine.

No fix.

Just breath and space.

Breath and space.

No medicine.

No fix.

It's damn uncomfortable.

And that is the freedom.

Still in bed.

Still here.

Nowhere to go.

Nothing to solve.

Just this.

Coming and going.

Coming and going.

Sit.

Feel.

Breathe.

It's damn uncomfortable.

No medicine.

No fix.

No medicine.

No fix.

Stay with it.

Feel the feeling.

This is freedom.

Sometimes being frozen is the most honest practice we can do.

No place to look but within.

Where the heart of suffering and the birthplace of freedom reside.

Stay with it.

Feel it below the belly.

Echoing up and down.

Feel it in the heart.

Feel it in the neck.

Feel it in the throat.

Feel it in the head.

Up and down.

Colliding.

Crashing.

It's damn uncomfortable.

Just feel it.

No medicine.

No fix.

Feel the feeling.

That's the freedom.

Feel the feeling.

Rest here for a few more breaths.

Just a few more breaths.

There's no goal.

There's nowhere to get to.

There's just this moment.

This next moment.

This next feeling.

No effort.

No escape.

You're not missing out on anything.

You are here.

Maybe you're in bed.

That's enough.

That is absolutely enough.

Just be here.

Feel it.

No medicine.

No fix.

It's damn uncomfortable.

And it comes and it goes.

And it comes and it goes.

Feel it.

Feel the feeling.

Just a few more breaths now.

And then let it go.

Just let it go.

Just let it go.

Be exactly as you are.

Where you are.

How you are.

It is totally perfect exactly as it is.

It's enough.

It's enough for now.

Take as much time as you need here.

All the time you need.

As much time as you need right here.

And when you feel ready.

Only when you feel ready.

Then you get up.

Then you go about your day.
