Whilst our preconceived notions of meditation or 'going inward' might lead us to believe it's all about cultivating "stillness", what happens when we acknowledge the inner realm of the body, it's subtle energy, and its never-ending movement, evolution, change and flow? This insight (although I’m sure not a new one) came to me on the day of recording this (16 December 2024) when I (once again) found myself resisting the natural and very perpetual motion of my body and being, and instead tried to 'force' stillness so I could 'meditate more effectively'. (Isn't it funny what our conditioned minds will lead us to believe about what we need to do in order to do something 'right'?!). So, in case it's helpful or interesting, I've recorded a 7-ish minute audio sharing the bones of the insight, as well as an invitation to explore it further yourself through your own intuitive or meditative practices. I hope there's a little magic in it for you. Sarah x
