But wounds from the past have impacted you and you know you are still being affected by them.

The knight enters the courtyard and alights.
He helps you off and hastens you into the main hall of the castle.

In all of her magnificence,
On a stone throne decorated with butterflies representing the transformational aspects of the air element,
And a cherub bringing a softer energy to the austerity of the scene,
Sits a beautiful woman who you know immediately is the Queen of Swords.
She is dressed in grey robes,
Embroidered with white clouds.
She too carries an upright sword.
Although beautiful,
Her face is solemn and you feel slightly in awe of her presence.
Her gaze seems to penetrate your very soul and you feel as if she is reading you and knows everything there is to know about you without you even exchanging a word.
You have travelled far through life to arrive at this juncture,
She says.
There have been times when you have experienced significant challenges and painful moments that have created confusion and led you to doubt your path.
You have been faced with difficult decisions which have resulted in indecision and avoidance and being stuck with the status quo.
She hands you her sword.

It wields great power from a divine source.

It will bring you success and victory in your challenges,
Of which in life there are always many,

He exudes wisdom,

You wield the sword of power given by the Queen,
He says.
Use it wisely.
You have exciting adventures ahead,
Where your power will come to the fore.
Armed with the clarity you have gained from meeting with the sword representatives,
You will have authority in your domain.
You have experienced hardships,
But they have strengthened you,
Despite what you may feel or think.
They have given you life experience,
So that when you encounter similar situations again,
You will have greater insight and understanding,
And be ready to face whatever life presents.
