In this session,
I will guide you through a soothing visualization practice,
Allowing you to experience the various states of water,
Awakening your inherent fluidity and adaptability,
And your potential for peace and stillness amidst the movement of the mind.
This visualization of the journey of water is also the journey of enlightenment.
When the drop of water meets the ocean,
It becomes one with the ocean,
It becomes enlightened.
So without any further ado,
Allow yourself to get into your sleep posture.
It doesn't necessarily have to be a postured night,
You can simply allow yourself to be fluid however you want to lie down.
Let the body surrender,
Let the mind surrender.
Let the ego surrender.
And if you haven't already done that,
You can gradually close your eyes and let's begin with this visual of the moon.
Visualize that you are lying down in a cabin with a glass ceiling and this beautiful moon above you that you can see through the glass ceiling.
Let yourself receive the soothing light of the moon and now become aware of your breath.
As you breathe in,
Breathe in the moonlight,
Keep breathing in the moonlight.
Feel yourself going deeper into relaxation with each breath and now in your mind's eye,
Visualize and feel that you are a cloud floating in the sky,
Feel your lightness,
Feel yourself floating in the air as you move across different landscapes,
The forests,
The cities,
The desert,
The grasslands,
The ocean and the mountains and now as this cloud,
You come atop a mountain.
You see that there is a river flowing down the mountain so you have this intuition to become the river but before you become the river,
You first turn into a raindrop.
Now that you want to reach the river,
You start falling from the sky as this raindrop and then you land in the river with a splash and now you have merged with the river.
Feel the separation,
The ego of the drop dissolving as it becomes one with the river.
You're flowing down the mountain and as you're flowing down the mountain,
Sometimes you are flowing down at high speed and sometimes the speed becomes slow but as you reach the bottom of the mountain,
You have slowed down and now you have entered the forest.
Just flowing through the forest,
Visualize a beautiful green forest around you,
All the trees,
The flowers,
Birds,
Animals drinking from you,
The roots of the trees taking your water.
You are a lifeline for this forest and now you enter the cities and villages.
You become a lifeline for civilization and now it's time to reach the ocean.
You are almost at the edge of the ocean and now you have merged with the ocean.
The river has become the ocean.
Feel that expansion,
Feel the separate self dissolving as you become one with the collective,
With the ocean.
And now you feel the sun on your surface and you have started evaporating.
From the ocean,
You are now turning into vapor gas and as this gas,
You are rising up to the sky once again.
And now once again you have become the cloud,
For now as this cloud,
You can rest in the sky,
Enter the world of deep sleep.
I will be counting back from 10 to 0 and with each step,
You will descend deeper and deeper into the world of sleep.
