My name is Sangeet,
And today I am here to tell you something very important.
How many of us,
At some point in time,
Are forced to face extremely difficult realities?
And how many of us are forced to keep going with our lives,
Almost as if nothing happened,
To maintain whatever it is that is left?
And as a result of this,
How many of us end up suppressing our feelings,
Pretending that everything is just fine,
Because we think that we have no other choice?
And how many times many of us go through this in this lifetime?
In all those moments,
In all those times,
Only tears want to come out,
When all we want is to be able to smile and to laugh again,
With joy and happiness,
And with the same pure sense of freedom and of innocence that we brought with us when we were born in this planet.
Nobody wants to feel sad,
But sadness is part of our emotions,
We can't just ignore it.
Is our surrounding world ready to embrace and to include all of our feelings and states and faces?
Maybe,
Maybe not,
But whatever the case is,
We and our hearts matter,
And we and our hearts should always be and feel safe and comfortable,
Not to avoid our sadness,
But to allow it to be expressed and to be felt at any time,
Not to push us into a forever sad condition either,
But to help us to release it through the acceptance,
The gratitude,
And the appreciation for the natural course of life.
Sadness can be hard to feel,
But it is way harder when we judge it and when we avoid it and punish ourselves for feeling it.
Sadness may not seem to be part of our dreams and goals,
But if we pay close attention,
Even when we wish something amazing to happen,
It always comes with emotions,
And in those emotions,
Sadness is inevitably,
Directly,
Or indirectly part of it.
Why?
Because the universe is about inclusion,
And at least in this planet,
We get to feel and to experience the full spectrum of emotions.
Sadness is ok,
And happiness as well.
So today,
Whether we cry or we smile,
Let's embrace it for a while,
So our heart can really receive all the validation that it deserves.
Our heart is beautiful,
Not just sometimes,
But always.
It is its grandiose nature to strengthen itself and to heal,
And it is up to us to feel.
