Here I speak about the concept of "miracle", and how we perceive it and apply it in life. I also explain how our mind insists in seeing the rareness in what is actually very natural to occur, through a new approach and perspective.

My name is Sangeet and today I am sharing with you something about miracles.

When we think of the concept of miracle,

We think of something that feels impossible to happen.

We think of something that is too good to be true,

Unrealistic,

Something that only happens in our dreams and imagination.

But then the impossible and unrealistic happens,

And it feels really good.

And then we can't deny it.

So we have to call it something,

And we call it miracle,

Because it feels indeed like a wish come true.

The thing is that our mind is so stubborn that whether we ignore it to the point of denying its deserving of appreciation or we decide to welcome it under a certain limit by refusing to call it normal,

So we come up with something that stands out and that at the same time touches the surreal like miracle.

It is possible we have to admit it because it happened,

But still we make sure that it is very rare,

Very unlikely,

And very unrealistic.

We wished for it,

It manifested,

But still we don't fully believe in it.

Whatever we call miracle,

Whether it already happened or not,

Is pushed away into that group of things that never happen or that are almost impossible.

Many of us even call it divine intervention,

Which only brings us back to the same concept,

Miracle.

The reality keeps showing us what we think is impossible,

And we keep denying it to a large extent.

Miracles are only miracles because we perceive them as such,

And they wouldn't be miracles if we wouldn't call them so.

If we think miracles are impossible,

Let's then take a good look around and inside of us.

How many amazing things happen in our lives every single day?

How many times do we get the chance to smile and to laugh,

To cry and to release,

To enjoy something new,

To remember something good?

How many times do we get the chance to be happier and to evolve through all the experiences that we experience?

How many times nature shows itself to us as a big amazing phenomenon that happens on its own,

Through our bodies and minds,

Through animals,

Through the sky and the earth and all of the stars?

How many times do we have to experience everything,

And for how much longer do we have to live in this planet to fully see and appreciate everything as it is,

And to fully recognize that everything that is,

Is absolutely stunning?

Do miracles happen in our lives?

Yes,

Every day,

All the time,

Because they are not surreal or out of this world.

They are pure and normal expressions of life.

A big miracle is what this is all about,

Not because it is supposed to be rare or to shock us,

But because it is supposed to be just as it is,

And just as it is,

It is to be loved and to be cherished.

So,

Today,

Let's take and embrace all the miracles,

And call them natural.

Let's take all the impossible beautiful things and call them our daily basis.

Let's look closely into ourselves and into our lives,

And recognize the actual miracles that we have been experiencing without even realizing.
