My name is Sangeet,
And today I want to remind us of something.
We all go on and on,
Telling ourselves so many things,
And chances are that most of those things are limited concepts and ideas about ourselves and the rest of the world that pull us back from being as happy as we wish to be.
Many of us go through an entire life without knowing what it is and what it feels like to truly love and to truly be loved,
What it is to truly live the life of our dreams freely.
Most of us even believe that that doesn't exist,
That that only happens on movies and fairy tales,
And once the movie ends and the book is closed,
Then real life comes back as harsh and hard as it can get.
And if something comes up that makes us doubt of our own fears,
We quickly create endless excuses to justify our negative thoughts that led us wondering why did we even incarnate in the first place.
And every time we dive into this dark inner talk,
We come out of it more and more determined in wearing a complete nonsense self-destructive label that keeps us struggling and struggling.
Many of us can choose to live like that,
But let me tell you,
Every time we believe that there is something wrong with us,
Every time we pinpoint another reason that justifies the fact that true happiness is impossible,
We are actually denying all the beautiful real stories out there,
All the amazing experiences that so many of us are experiencing right now,
And all the love that is genuinely felt throughout this world at every moment.
You see,
When we believe that good things are impossible,
We are putting aside all the obvious facts that prove exactly the opposite,
And for sure,
We all know some sort of evidence that dreams can actually come true,
And if we think that we have to reach some sort of perfection in order to have it,
Then we are pulling ourselves even further from the truth.
Because this subject is so important,
I am sharing with you a real story that once I came across with.
A woman ended a toxic marriage,
And on top of that,
She was hit by a car and her face got disfigured.
She went through many treatments,
And still her face was not the same as before.
She thought her life was over,
And particularly,
She thought her love life was over.
Little did she know that she was about to meet her perfect partner for life,
The true love that she had always wanted and thought it was impossible.
This is only one story between so many more.
Happiness is real,
And it is real for all of us,
No matter the circumstances.
And no,
We don't have to go through any difficult experience in order to have it,
We just have to open our hearts and minds to receive it.
And whenever something pulls us back from believing in our smallest or biggest dreams,
We can always remind ourselves of the numerous inspiring stories out there.
So today,
Let's just delete our limited thoughts and start all over.
Let's remind ourselves of how magical this life can be,
And of how much the universe worked behind the scenes so it can surprise us with its miraculous gifts.
And if you lost hope on something,
On someone,
On yourself,
Just trust and know that happiness is being prepared for you,
And that very very soon,
You too will be surprised with a beautiful gift from the universe.
