Then, we choose an anchor point, such as the right thumb and use sensations to create a link between the physical and mental state and the anchor point. By practicing this technique, you can become very adept at finding your way into a relaxed state simply by using the spot on your right thumb. It's very handy for when you are facing stressful situations or challenges as this can bring about immediate relief.
