
Evening Hypnotic Meditation: Your Sacred Space
Thank you for listening to my Evening Meditation called Sacred Space. Release stresses from the day and relax.
Transcript
This is your time to relax.
Please do not listen to this whilst driving or using machinery.
Make yourself comfortable now,
Either laying down or seated,
Somewhere quiet.
You may hear other sounds,
Voices around you.
That's fine.
They will travel with you on a journey of relaxation.
So when you're ready,
Close your eyes and just be aware of your breathing.
Breathing down into the base of your stomach and tracing your breath up,
Up through your body and out through your nose or through your mouth,
Letting go.
Tracing your breathing.
You will now breathe in calmness.
Breathe out calmness.
As your eyes are closed and your body is starting to relax now,
In your mind imagine a colour.
Maybe your favourite colour.
This is your colour of relaxation.
If you can,
Imagine that colour in between your eyebrows,
Flowing up to your hairline,
Across your forehead.
See that colour getting richer and deeper.
And allow that colour to start flowing through your scalp,
Through your hair,
Down through the back of your neck,
Across your shoulders,
Allowing your shoulders to drop.
Relax.
As the colour now flows down through your eyes,
Making your eyes sleepier and heavier,
Down through your cheeks.
Allowing your tongue to fall from the roof of your mouth as your jaw drops.
Your face relaxed.
As your colour of relaxation now flows down through your chest,
Down through your arms and out through your fingertips,
Notice how heavy your body is becoming.
There is nothing you need to do now,
Nowhere you need to be.
Just allow your colour of relaxation to flow down through your stomach,
Relaxing your body,
Easing pain down through your legs,
Your knees,
Calves and out through your feet.
As you lay now relaxed,
Listening to the sound of my voice,
The sound of the music.
You can drift and float wherever you need to go,
That's fine.
But the more your mind tries not to relax,
The quicker and deeper you relax now.
In a moment I'm going to count down from 10 to 1.
On the count of 1,
Your mind will become open but your body will become heavier,
Deeper,
More relaxed.
No desire to move a muscle.
That's fine.
10 Down 9 Deeper Deeper relaxed 8 There is nothing you need to do now,
Nowhere you need to be.
7 Drifting down 6 5 Your eyes sleepier,
Heavier.
5 4 Down to 3 2 1 Deeper relaxed You are now totally relaxed.
In your mind now,
See in front of you a big oak door.
A door that in a moment you are going to open and easily travel through.
The other side of this door is your sacred place.
A place where you can float into at any time leaving your ailments,
Your emotional stresses,
Worries,
Anxieties behind.
Here in your sacred place,
Your body feels no pain.
Your mind feels free and clear.
Your body healthy,
Light and balanced.
So when you are ready now,
Imagining you are pushing open the heavy oak door.
And imagine you are floating through into a sacred space in your mind.
Your eyes are closed,
Your body is heavy.
And I am going to ask you to imagine different things.
What does your sacred space look like?
Are you at the top of a mountain breathing in clear air?
Are you in a tranquil beautiful garden listening to the birds?
Or are you simply sitting and watching a fire burning in the ground,
Warming your face and your body?
This is your sacred place.
And you have the ability to create it just as you wish.
As you are here,
You notice your mind is becoming calmer,
Your body heavier,
Free of pain.
In your sacred place,
What do you feel now?
Where are you?
Does your skin feel warm?
Is the air moist?
Is the light bright?
Or is it dark?
You take a breath in now and release.
As you create your sacred place in your mind,
You feel more and more comfortable at one with yourself.
Imagine you are taking a look to the left now.
Does your landscape change?
Your hands can become tools now and you can create buildings.
You can grow trees and flowers in your mind.
This is your safe,
Protected space.
Take a breath in now and release your breath.
Good.
Now imagine you are looking to the right of you.
Can you see your sacred place changing?
You look behind you in your mind and in front of you.
This is a place where you leave the density of life behind you.
Here you are pain free,
Emotionally free.
And that's fine.
Breathing in the purity,
The light,
The calmness.
I'd like you to imagine you are laying down now,
Somewhere in your sacred space.
What are you laying on?
What does it feel like?
Around the whole of your body are the most beautiful crystals,
Twinkling with colors,
Healing vibrations.
All the healing energy from the crystals is pouring into your body now,
Healing every part of you.
Maybe you can imagine in your mind a specific area of pain or discomfort and see the crystal energy concentrating around that area,
Breaking down,
Dissolving all pain,
Dissolving into the earth,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
When you are ready now,
You can see yourself standing up and taking one last look at what you have created in your sacred place.
You feel an exchange of love from your sacred place.
It is now time to travel back through your oak door,
Back into your mind and your body,
Laying or seated,
Closing the door behind you.
But with you,
You bring all of the healing energy.
You bring with you positivity.
Your cells are working and mending,
Repairing.
This is a permanent suggestion on your mind,
And that's fine.
Use this time now to just be.
Listen to the music and allow your mind and body to absorb these positive changes and relax.
You will continue to relax now,
Whilst you drift into a beautiful sleep and wake up in the morning when you are ready,
Feeling refreshed,
Positive,
Refreshed,
Love and light always.

Love this meditation! The music and bells were very soft and did not overpower the words. The voice was perfect for this type of practice. I hope there are more guided meditations like this to come. Maybe even longer meditations.
