Your voice matters.
You are heard.
A throat chakra meditation.
Take a moment to connect with your breath and to settle.
Maybe move around.
Connect with the sounds around you and just be.
And I invite you to come close.
Close enough to hear the quiet between the breaths.
Close enough to feel the language of your body to soften.
You'll get your shoulders are no longer holding what they were never meant to carry.
Come close enough to feel your animal's presence settling beside you.
Or within you.
As if that is the place where you hold them dear.
This is the place they've always belonged in this sacred pause.
This is not a place for performance.
This is not where we push.
This is the place where we listen.
Not just with our ears,
But with our hearts.
Let yourself sink into stillness.
There is nothing to prove here.
No story that needs to be made tidy.
Just the raw truth of what lives we are living.
The truth that lives in our throat.
The truth that is within us when we haven't spoken for a while.
Now bring your attention to that place,
The space in your body where your voice gathers before it even becomes sound.
Just below the jaw,
Right where the breath prepares to rise.
This is where the throat chakra lives.
Picture your animal.
Feel the soft curve of their neck,
The gentle rise of their throat when they sigh or yawn or sing for you in their own sacred way.
This is their voice.
Even if it doesn't sound like yours.
Even if it never comes through as words,
They still speak.
They always have.
The throat chakra is not about talking.
It is about truth and the courage to let the truth be heard.
And sometimes,
When animals have lived through too much,
Too many moments of being scolded or ignored,
Or left alone when they needed someone most,
They quiet themselves.
They tuck their truth inside their chest,
And they stop trying to speak.
This may be something you can relate to.
Over time,
The opposite happens.
They speak too loudly,
Too often,
Because it's the only way they've been able to survive.
And their voice becomes a shield,
A way to say,
Don't leave me,
Please see me.
And even if they don't know how,
They try.
And maybe this is familiar to you too.
So now together,
You and your animal are going to hold space for each other's voices to return home.
Visualize a soft blue light forming in the space between you.
Not the kind of blue that is cold,
The kind of blue that feels like twilight,
Or like cool water on warm skin.
Like the first note of a song you forgot you loved.
This light moves gently,
From your throat to theirs,
From their breath to yours.
It doesn't ask questions,
It doesn't demand answers,
It just listens.
You may begin to feel the energy loosen.
A quiet hum rises in your chest.
A ripple in your breath.
A softening in their body.
This is your shared language returning.
This is communication beyond words.
And now if your pet could speak,
Like really speak,
They may say,
I tried to tell you when I was afraid.
I tried to show you when I needed love.
Sometimes I barked,
Or meowed,
Or pulled away.
But really,
I was just asking,
Can I trust you with my truth?
And maybe your heart would answer.
You don't have to be quiet to be loved.
You don't have to be loud to be seen.
You are heard always.
You are seen every moment of the day.
Let the light between you expand with these words.
Let it wrap around their throat and yours.
Not to silence anything,
But to honour it.
To say,
Your voice is sacred here.
You are safe here.
And our truth is in a safe and sacred place,
Right here,
To be shared.
And as the blue light continues to move,
You begin to notice how much quieter everything feels.
Not in absence of sound,
But in the presence of peace.
You and your animal have found a new way to speak.
One that doesn't rely on words,
But on energy.
On presence.
On permission granted.
Your voice matters.
You are heard.
And together,
You are remembering how to speak from your soul.
And to listen from your heart.
Stay here as long as you like.
In the stillness.
In the truth.
In the quiet communion of two beings who no longer need to shout to be heard.
To be silenced to be approved.
But to be together in peace.
Together with a love language.
That lifts each other up.
And makes the day brighter.
And lighter.
And then slowly start to connect with your breath.
And the sounds around you.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
And connect with this inner knowing.
And the love language.
That you have opened up again with your pet.
From this peaceful place.
I welcome you back.
Welcome home.
Thank you.
