Welcome to this guided meditation,
Intuition versus fear.
There's nothing you need to figure out.
Nothing you need to solve.
For the next several minutes,
Your only job is to notice.
Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath without changing it,
Without guiding it or controlling it.
Simply observe it.
Where does your breath feel the easiest to detect?
It could be the sensation of air at your nostrils,
The rise and fall of your belly or chest,
Or any other aspect of breath that is most present and alive for you right now.
And now a moment of pause.
To give thanks for the breath that is breathing you.
You don't need to ask for it.
You don't need to deserve it or earn it.
It is here simply because life has chosen you.
Now,
Deepen your breath.
A smooth,
Full breath in.
And a slow breath out.
Several more breath cycles just like that.
On every exhale,
Letting go,
Letting go.
Letting go.
As your breathing settles,
Imagine your attention dropping out of your thinking mind.
And down into your body.
Notice the places where your body is making contact.
With the support beneath.
Invite your shoulders to soften.
And the muscles around your eyes to relax.
Perhaps unclench your jaw.
And soften your belly.
In this moment,
There is nothing to hold.
Nothing to do.
Nothing to undo.
Nothing to fix.
Or try to understand.
Now gently scan through your body.
From the crown of your head.
Down to your feet and notice any sensations that are already present.
Here are a few examples.
Perhaps warmth,
Coolness,
Pressure,
Tingling,
Tightness,
Openness,
Or any other sensation.
You may notice nothing at all.
Whatever you experience is perfectly okay.
There's nothing you need to create.
We're simply becoming better feelers and listeners.
Now I'd ask you to bring to mind a memory,
A moment in your life when you knew deep,
Deep down that something was right.
Perhaps it was saying yes to an opportunity.
Or meeting someone who immediately felt safe.
Walking into a place that felt like home,
Standing in nature,
Holding someone's hand.
Choosing a path that felt deeply aligned with who you are.
Allow the first memory that gently arises.
Now,
See what you saw.
What were your surroundings?
Hear what you heard.
Feel yourself there.
Notice your body,
Not the story,
The sensations.
Does your breathing change?
How?
How does your heart center feel?
Is there warmth or coolness anywhere?
Or maybe something neutral.
Perhaps a softening.
Perhaps a hardening,
Maybe a feeling of spaciousness.
Perhaps your body simply feels settled.
Notice what a genuine yes feels like for you.
There's no universal experience.
Your body has its own language.
Take a few breaths here,
Allowing yourself to become familiar with the feeling of alignment.
Now gently let that memory drift away like a cloud floating across the sky.
Return your attention to your breathing.
Feel the support beneath you once again.
Now bring to mind a different memory,
A time when looking back something wasn't quite right.
Nothing overwhelming.
Perhaps you ignored your instinct,
Maybe you stayed too long or said yes when every part of you wanted to say no.
Again,
There's no need to revisit anything overwhelming.
Choose something manageable.
Notice what happens in your body.
What's the pace of your breath now?
The depth or shallowness.
What happens to your shoulders.
Heart center.
Stomach.
Is there a heaviness?
A lightness?
Restlessness.
A desire to pull away or move toward.
Simply observe without judgment,
Without trying to change anything.
No right or wrong.
Your body has been speaking to you for a very long time and today you're simply learning its language.
Now let that memory fade.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in.
And a long exhale letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
Imagine clearing the space within you.
Your breath like a gust of wind sweeping through your body,
Clearing out any debris or residue of the past few minutes,
Returning you to neutral.
Now bring into your awareness a decision you're currently facing.
Not the biggest decision of your life,
Just something real.
Perhaps it's whether to commit to something or have a conversation,
Set a boundary.
Begin a project.
Or simply decide what your next step might be.
Hold the question gently without searching for an answer.
Instead of asking your mind,
Ask your body.
What happens inside me when I imagine saying yes?
Pause.
Notice,
Not the thoughts,
The sensations.
Now quietly ask what happens inside me when I imagine saying no.
There may not be a clear answer today,
And that's okay.
This isn't a test.
The goal isn't certainty.
The goal is relationship.
Every time you pause and listen,
You strengthen your connection with yourself.
Sometimes intuition arrives as clarity.
Sometimes it arrives as a feeling that is quiet and grows stronger over time.
Sometimes it simply asks for patience.
Trust that you do not have to force what is meant to become clear.
And here's a tell-tale sign to look for.
If the answer has to be right now,
It is in intuition.
Just wait.
Take another slow breath in.
And long breath out,
Letting go,
Letting go,
Letting go.
And repeat after me.
Out loud or in your head.
I do not need to have all the answers.
I am learning to listen.
My body carries wisdom.
I can move slowly.
I can be curious.
I can trust myself one small decision at a time.
Take one final deep breath in.
And slow breath out.
And as you begin returning to the room or the space around you,
Remember this.
Your intuition isn't something you have to chase.
It isn't hidden somewhere outside of you.
It has been with you all along.
Each time you pause,
Each time you breathe,
Each time you choose to listen instead of react,
You strengthen the quiet voice within that has always been guiding you.
May you leave this practice with a little more curiosity,
A little more compassion,
And a little more trust in the wisdom that already lives inside you.
As you feel ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Slowly open your eyes.
If you're someone who enjoys journaling,
Jot down what felt most alive for you today.
Thank you for showing up and taking deep care of yourself.
Bye for now.
