A guided meditation to meet and activate your Heart Chakra. This technique will allow you to reconnect and create a loving relationship with your Heart. In this meditation, you'll learn what your Heart's deepest desires are, what you can let go of in your life, and how you can bring more joy into it. Your Heart is an extension of you, and holds a lot of wisdom that you may not have accessed before. This meditation was inspired by reading the book "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. Transcript

This is a heart meditation.

Begin by sitting up comfortably in a chair with your feet flat on the ground and your shoulders rolled back with your head like it's on a puppet string coming off from the top of the ceiling.

You're going to start by closing your eyes and taking a deep breath in through your nose,

Holding it at the top,

And then letting it all out through your mouth.

So we'll begin by taking in a deep breath in through the nose.

One,

Two,

Three.

Hold at the top.

One,

Two,

Three.

And let it out through the mouth.

One,

Two,

Three.

Another inhale through the nose.

One,

Two,

Three.

Hold.

One,

Two,

Three.

And exhale.

One,

Two,

Three.

Last one.

In through the nose.

One,

Two,

Three.

Hold.

One,

Two,

Three.

And all out through the mouth.

One,

Two,

Three.

Okay,

You're going to take your hand and place it now over your heart.

Just hold it there for a moment,

Feeling the energy pouring from your heart and into your hands.

Now picturing your heart underneath your hands,

Turning into a green shining light.

So seeing that green shining light starting to spin around underneath your hand,

Almost like a record player.

Just watching that green light continue to spin like a disc or a brighter and brighter.

Feel and see this green light pouring out of your body,

Shining past your hands and out into the room.

See it getting bigger and bigger,

Lighting up your entire body now.

Lighting up the outside of your body,

In the inside of your body,

Making everything look green.

See it now shining outside the back of your body as well,

Coming out and pouring green light into behind you and in front of you.

Feel that green light filling your entire body through your head,

Through your neck and your arms,

Through your chest.

Just feel it pushing through your back and your legs and your feet.

See that green light taking over the room.

This green is the color of your heart chakra and you're activating your heart right now.

Now notice what color green it is that you're seeing.

Is it emerald?

Is it lime?

A dark green?

Just notice what this color is for you.

Now we're going to focus back underneath your hand where your heart chakra actually is.

Now visualize yourself getting small,

Almost like your soul is shrinking down and then see the smaller version of yourself entering in underneath your heart or underneath your hand into your heart chakra.

See that going inside your body.

Now flow through,

Visualize yourself,

The small version of yourself,

Flowing through your body until you reach some sort of platform on the front of your heart.

This may look like a pier or a dock.

It may look like something completely different like a wooden bridge or something else but whatever you're seeing here is correct.

So now you're going to step up onto this platform.

While you're on this platform,

Take a moment to look around you.

Take a moment to notice what scene may you be seeing.

Just notice but no need to dwell or worry too much about what you see.

I just want you to notice what it is.

As you're on this platform,

Start to walk forward towards the land and if you don't see any land,

That's okay.

Just start walking forward away from where you started.

As you're walking forward,

You should be seeing someone now walking towards you.

Continue to walk and they will walk towards you as well.

As they get closer,

You may realize that this being actually looks like you or somewhat like you.

This is your heart.

As your heart gets closer,

Notice what they look like.

What are they wearing?

What does their health look like?

Does your heart look healthy?

Do they look like they're in good health or maybe a little weary or fatigued?

Does your heart appear to be smiling or frowning or something else?

Just notice now how your heart appears.

Once you get close enough,

Greet your heart.

Tell your heart hello.

Give your heart a hug or a handshake if your heart allows.

Once you are settled,

You may find that your heart wants to take you somewhere else.

This is okay.

Let your heart take you elsewhere and I'll give you a moment to follow your heart and see where you go.

Once you are settled or maybe as you're continuing to walk,

Ask your heart this first question.

How are you doing?

Now listen as your heart explains.

You may hear words.

You may see something visually or have pictures flash in your head.

Something else may happen.

You may just have a knowing of what it is that your heart wants you to know.

Just notice it and know that you are not making this up.

This is correct.

So once again,

How is your heart doing?

Ask this question now.

Now ask heart,

What is it that you desire?

And see what information you get here.

You may always ask for more clarifying information if you do not understand.

You can ask another question which is where is it that you desire to live?

What kind of place or what would you like our home to look like?

Or you can ask something else about your desires and dreams at this point.

Now ask your heart,

What is it that you are passionate about that you could be striving towards in your life?

This answer may surprise you or it may be exactly what you already knew.

Now ask,

What is it that is getting in the way of this passion and desire?

What is it that we may let go to get closer to this?

And if you're getting vague answers here,

You can always ask for specifics.

Like if your heart says,

Let go of a specific emotion,

You may ask,

How do I do this?

Give me some action items please.

Now ask your heart,

How is it that I can have more joy and fun in my life?

What do you recommend?

Finally,

Ask your heart,

Is there anything else you'd like to tell me right now?

As you wrap up the conversation,

Notice how your heart's body language appears and how your heart appears to be now,

Health wise.

Does your heart look any different?

How was your heart's demeanor when they spoke with you?

How is your heart's demeanor now?

Is your heart delighted to be sharing information with you or do they appear a different way?

Now you're going to have your heart now walk you back to the platform where you started.

So continuing to just follow your heart back there.

And as you walk,

Take in the scenery around you again and the colors,

Possibly anything that you may have missed before or anything that might be there now that's new to you.

As you reach the end of the platform again,

Be sure to tell your heart goodbye.

Thank your heart for speaking with you today.

Give your heart a hug or a handshake if they allow.

And most importantly,

Make sure to tell your heart that you love it.

That you love your heart and you love yourself.

Finally,

We're going to wave goodbye to the heart and you're going to see yourself lifting back up off of that platform,

Flowing back out of your body the same way you came and feel yourself now getting bigger.

Feeling up your whole body again.

Feeling your soul coming back in.

Taking a deep breath in here.

Letting it all out.

Taking in another deep breath in.

Letting it all out.

Now feeling your body just for a moment.

Perhaps wiggling your hands,

Your fingers,

And your toes.

Swaying side to side and then opening your eyes and noticing the surroundings around you.

You may want to journal about what you learned today from your heart.

And you may repeat this meditation anytime you want to connect with your heart.

You can always ask different questions as well.

But this is a great exercise to develop a relationship with your heart.

Check in and see how you are doing because your heart reflects how you are doing on the inside and on the outside.
