Begin this meditation by sitting up comfortably in a chair or laying down.
We're going to start by taking in a deep breath in through the nose,
Filling up the belly,
Making it as big as you can and then exhaling it all out,
Compressing the belly and the lungs.
So begin by taking in a deep breath through the nose.
One,
Two,
Three,
And then exhale it all out through the mouth.
One,
Two,
Three.
Another deep breath,
Filling up your lungs and your stomach.
One,
Two,
Three,
And exhale it all out,
Compressing.
One,
Two,
Three.
One last deep breath in,
As big as you can get your belly.
One,
Two,
Three,
And exhale it all out.
One,
Two,
Three.
Now we're going to picture you standing in the middle of a field and just sensing that wind,
That beautiful breeze coming around you,
Standing in the middle of this field,
Witnessing the grass,
Witnessing the sun and the clouds,
The blue skies above you,
And just feel that wind for a moment brushing your skin.
Now I want you to visualize this wind starting to pick you up,
Lifting you slowly off the ground,
Lifting your feet.
Feel that wind coming up underneath your belly.
Feel yourself getting higher and higher with the wind.
Now as that wind pulls you up higher,
Flowing through,
Moving up,
Going towards the clouds,
I want you to see and feel your arms turning into wings.
Sense that feeling of strength and confidence flowing through your arms,
Flowing through,
Creating feathers,
Creating that force of nature needed to flap your wings and move with the wind.
Continue to feel your whole body transform now into the body of a bird.
Feel yourself going further and further up into the sky,
Flowing through with the wind,
Feeling your body changing and becoming more with nature.
As you're lifting up,
As you're moving through the wind,
Find yourself flapping your wings slowly up and down.
Feel that strength flowing through you.
And now feel that wind pulling you forward.
Noticing that there's a feeling of freedom,
Of least resistance,
Of just knowing that you can go where the wind wants to take you without forcing it,
But also knowing that you have the control to move your direction if you would like.
So just feel that wind carrying you through the clouds,
Through the sky,
Knowing that you're held and cared for as you're flowing through the sky.
Now I want you to see yourself swooping,
Swooping down and moving through the wind at your own leisure.
Feel that freedom of knowing that you can move,
That confidence,
That strength,
That awareness of the wind,
Of everything around you.
As you're soaring through the air,
Take some time to look below.
See how vast and expansive this world is.
Notice the abundance,
Not only the abundance of nature,
Of water,
Of grass,
Of forest,
But the expanse of the buildings of the people.
See yourself flying above a city and notice how many people there are,
How many opportunities exist out there.
Feel the abundance of that,
The prosperity that's in front of you that can be achieved.
As you're flying now,
See yourself flying above a forest.
Notice that rooted,
Magical feeling that a forest brings to the area around it.
Notice how high up you are.
Can you soar at you lower?
Can you sense or smell the trees below you?
Can you hear other birds chirping?
Can you feel the cool breeze against your skin,
The warmth of the sun above you?
Now we're going to see a mountain coming into the distance.
In your view,
I want you to keep flying,
Soaring towards that mountain.
And as you soar towards it,
Notice what's around.
Are there lakes?
Are there rivers?
Does the mountain have trees on it?
Does it have growth?
Is there snow on the top?
As you get closer,
Are there animals that you can see?
Can you notice flowers?
And I want you to look at this mountain and see how stable and rooted this mountain is.
No matter what comes to this mountain,
You taking a perch on a tree on the mountain,
Snow falling on it,
Storms coming through,
People walking on it,
It doesn't matter.
This mountain is still stable.
And I want you to feel what it feels like to be free and soaring,
But also sense into that energy of the mountain too,
That stable,
Balanced feeling.
The stability that comes from knowing yourself and having that freedom to be yourself.
Now as you're soaring around,
Maybe take a seat or stop at a stream and look at your reflection on the stream.
If you prefer to keep flying above a stream and look at your reflection,
You may do that.
But whatever you do,
I want you to look at your reflection now in that stream.
Really take yourself in and send yourself love.
Knowing you are exactly where you need to be,
You're exactly who you need to be,
And you deserve everything you desire.
Knowing that you can send yourself this love,
Tapping into your trust within,
Your inner wisdom,
And you have that freedom to be you.
There's always opportunity,
There's always prosperity.
I want you to get back up into the air,
Feel yourself soaring again,
And just sensing again into that feeling of the warmth of the Sun,
The cool breeze.
While you're soaring through clouds,
Maybe just sensing the feeling of the clouds or knowing that you can go as high as you'd like or as low as you'd like.
You have all the opportunity to make the decisions that you want to make.
You have the control,
But you also have the support of the wind,
Of the world,
Of your life.
As long as you can let yourself soar,
Stop trying so hard,
Stop resisting.
Just feel the feeling of knowing you're supported by this wind,
By the flow of life,
And the peace that comes with this.
Now finding yourself slowly coming back down to the meadow that you started on,
Finding yourself now standing in this meadow again.
Feel your body transforming back into your human body,
Your hands and arms turning back,
Your feet,
Your legs,
Your torso,
And your head.
Remembering this feeling now,
Just remembering the peace,
The freedom,
The abundance that is available to you whenever you would like.
We're going to take in one last deep breath in through the nose and let it all out through the mouth.
You may open your eyes,
Wiggle your fingers and your toes,
And take this with you the rest of your day.
