Hi.
This is your five minute calm reset.
A space to gently step out of overthinking and come back to the present moment.
Wherever you are,
Know that it's okay to pause.
Begin by sitting or lying in a comfortable position.
Let your shoulders drop.
Unclench your jaw.
Soften your hands.
Take a slow,
Steady breath in through your nose.
And out through your mouth.
Again,
In.
.
.
And out.
If your mind is racing or looping through thoughts,
That's okay.
You don't have to make them stop.
You're just shifting your focus for a moment from your thoughts to your senses.
Start by noticing what you can see.
Look around the room,
Or just take in the shapes,
Colours or shadows around you.
Say to yourself quietly,
I see… and name one thing.
Now another.
And one more.
Next,
What can you feel?
Notice the weight of your body against the chair or the ground.
Feeling of fabric against your skin.
The temperature of the air.
Say it to yourself.
I feel and name one physical sensation.
And then one more.
Listen.
What can you hear around you right now?
A distant sound,
A hum.
Even your own breath Say,
I hear.
Just gently shifting from your mind to your senses.
You are here.
You are safe.
You are grounded.
Now,
Let's breathe again,
Slowly,
With intention.
In through your nose,
Two,
Three,
Out through your mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Again,
In,
Two,
Three,
Out,
Two,
Three,
Four.
And again.
You don't need to solve anything right now.
You're allowed to rest.
You've already taken a step toward calm just by pressing play.
Before you move on with your day.
Take a moment to check in.
What do I need right now?
What's one small,
Kind thing I can do for myself today?
You can return to this calm space anytime you need.
It's always here.
Take one last breath.
And when you're ready.
Gently return to your day.
