Tibetan Nyid Zangpo གཉིད་བཟང་པོ . Nyid means sleep and Zangpo mean excellent or healthy. This Tibetan sleep meditation helps you heal by transforming the typically unconscious hours of sleep into a period of active mental and spiritual renewal. Unlike ordinary sleep, which acts as a passive reset, these practices train the mind to maintain a "thread of awareness" that can dismantle deep-seated emotional and psychological blockages. Focusing on specific "energy centers" (chakras) helps align the "subtle body," which reduces physical tension and triggers the body's natural healing response. Further, by maintaining awareness as you fall asleep, you can "self-liberate" emotions, preventing them from solidifying into long-term anxiety or depression.
