This is Heal While You Sleep with Tibetan Ni Dzangpo.
This is a guided meditation to help you transition into a restful,
Rejuvenating,
Healing sleep.
First thing is to,
As you enter your place of sleep,
See it as a sacred place.
To view it as you are entering into a sacred practice,
A practice that is healing and rejuvenating.
And this is an important attitude to cultivate.
As we lie down for sleep,
You can lie down in the lying position on the right side,
Knees bent,
Right hand under the head,
Or any position that's comfortable for you.
Begin by bringing attention to the heart center,
And to our breath.
Just gently notice your breath,
In and out,
Trying to control it,
Or manipulating it in any way as you are doing this.
With your attention on the heart center,
Imagine that your breathing is in through the heart center.
Thoughts arise.
It's okay,
Just come back to the heart breath.
Gently scan your body as you lie there.
Find places of pain,
Tightness,
Places of holding,
Or discomfort,
And breathe into those places,
Breathe in through the heart,
Down into those tight spaces,
Those painful spots.
Relaxation,
Ease,
Without any tension or tightness.
Now bring your attention to the mental world.
Notice your thoughts,
Your emotions,
Sense of excitement.
Breathe into that,
And breathe out that energy.
Imagine that as you breathe out,
You're releasing that energy.
Now imagine in your heart center,
There's a beautiful blue lotus with four petals.
It's made of light.
In the center of the lotus,
There's a small sphere of light,
Blue in color.
The front petal is yellow,
Sphere of light.
The crystal white is yellow light.
In the rear petal,
Red sphere of light.
In the left petal,
Green sphere of light.
These are the tigres.
Take a minute to imagine those in your heart center.
Now bring your awareness into the yellow golden sphere at the front.
Bring your awareness into that sphere.
You're surrounded now by this golden light.
As you're here in this sphere of golden light,
You can feel your limbs and body become heavier.
Feel them sinking into the bed,
Into the crystal white sphere of light.
Bring your attention deeply into that sphere of light.
A deeper sense of relaxation.
The red sphere,
Black.
Bring your attention deeply into this ruby light.
You're surrounded in the red light.
The loss of mind energy,
Emotional energy is dissipating.
See if you can feel the day's energy dissipate and lessen and get smaller within you.
Bring your attention to the green sphere of light in the left.
Go deeply into that sphere of light until you're surrounded by this emerald radiant light.
Rest in it.
Here you notice that your breathing gets deeper and slower.
It's a natural deepening and slowing of the breath.
Now bring your awareness deeply into the center sphere.
This light blue color.
Bring your attention deeply into that sphere.
Here there is a sense of spaciousness,
A sense of openness.
There's a luminosity here,
Like a full moon light.
Rest in the luminous space as you slowly drift off.
Drift off to your restful sleep.
