Dissolve into sleep with Tibetan Five Elements Ritual Meditation.
I am Robert Changsha.
So lie in your bed in a comfortable,
Relaxed position.
Close your eyes.
Your body become heavy.
Take three slow,
Deep sighs out of your mouth.
Consciously leaving the events of the day behind.
And now gently bring your awareness to your bones and muscles.
In the heavy physical structure of your body.
Feel how heavy you feel against the mattress.
Imagine the Earth element,
Your physical form,
Your stability,
Your rigid hold on the day,
Beginning to soften.
Beginning to melt.
And dissolve.
It is losing its solid form.
Gracefully liquefying and flowing into the element of water.
As solidity fades your body feels less like stone and more like fluid.
Say to yourself.
.
.
Earth dissolves into water.
I let go of my physical form.
I surrender to the flow.
Now bring your focus on the fluid nature of your body.
Your blood,
The flow of your breath.
The moisture and the currents of emotion flowing.
Through you from today.
Now imagine this internal ocean beginning to evaporate.
The liquid qualities of your being are gently warmed.
And slowly dissolve.
Into the element of fire.
The fluid heaviness leaves you.
Replaced.
By a deep,
Comforting and stationary warmth.
I invite you to say to yourself.
.
.
Water dissolves into fire.
I let go of my emotions.
I rest in pure warmth.
And feel the physical warmth of your body.
Particularly around your chest and torso.
Now imagine this warmth is beginning to cool.
Beginning to dissipate.
Like a flame gently going out,
Leaving only a soft glow.
Weightless thermal energy.
The fire dissolves completely into the element of air.
Imagine your body now feels incredibly light.
Cool and effortless.
As if you're waveless.
The active burning energy of the day.
Is entirely gone.
And you can say to yourself.
.
.
Fire dissolves into air.
I let go of all doing.
I am weightless.
I am weightless.
Now I invite you to bring your attention to the very subtle movement of your breath.
It is becoming shallow and soft.
And effortless.
Imagine the air element.
Movement,
Thought,
And the breath itself.
Dissolving outwards.
Merging completely.
To the infinite.
Silent expanse of space.
Imagine the boundaries of your physical body.
Completely fade away.
There is no inside or outside.
There is only vastness.
I invite you to say it to yourself.
Air dissolves into space.
I let go of movement.
I merge with the infinite.
You're now resting in pure,
Boundless space.
The mind is completely still.
Free from thoughts.
Concepts and labels.
Space now rests in its own nature.
Clear luminous deeply peaceful.
There's nothing left to hold on to.
Nowhere else to go.
And nothing left to do.
Allow your awareness to rest in this quiet,
Radiant voice.
Let yourself drift.
Effortlessly.
Into the clear light of sleep.
And say to yourself as a final whisper space,
Rest,
And clear light.
I rest in the Source.
