Betty the Yeti by R.
M.
Bode.
Hidden in the Himalayan mountain peaks lives a secret being rarely seen,
Though humanity still chases and seeks.
In this ancient and sacred land full of wonder and mystery,
Lives the mystical,
Magical,
And mysterious Yeti.
This is a story of one such Yeti.
She is 108 years old.
Her name is Betty.
Betty spends most of the day like most other Yetis do,
Staying hidden in the mountains and using caves and underground tunnels to walk through.
Betty the Yeti awakens just before sunrise.
She gets ready to gather berries,
Staying unseen to any and all others eyes.
Betty left from her home in the Himalayas to gather gooseberries in California's Sierra Nevada mountains.
She stays hidden inside the secret tunnels beneath the red hot lava fountains.
The gooseberries Betty gathered were so ripe and sweet.
She collected some extra to enjoy for a most satisfying treat.
Back Betty traveled through the underground tunnels and arrived along the Appalachian Trail.
She searched and searched,
But to no avail.
Then suddenly Betty saw bunches of elk and She picked and gathered her bounty of berries with so much joy and delight.
Betty sees a accumulating Goldmanlee wanton of capital dirt Back through the tunnel with swiftness and ease,
Betty collected bilberries all across the mountain range in Europe called the Pyrenees.
Down underground to another berry gathering place,
Betty continued on with her journey at a swift and steady pace.
Now Betty appears up north in the snowy Scandinavian mountain peaks.
She quickly collects the treasure trove of cloudberries that she seeks.
Back through the underground tunnel,
Betty continues to roam.
Back to the Himalayas to gather blackberries back at home.
Now Betty's day of gathering berries is finally complete.
She can return back home and enjoy the taste of all the berries that she can eat.
Betty enjoyed her meal with such sweet delight.
She was satisfied and ready for a restful sleep this night.
To bed,
Betty went to sleep and dream throughout the night,
Excited for the new day's adventure with the shine of the sun's first light.
Thank you for listening to Betty's story.
I hope you learned something valuable and new.
Enjoy the rest of your day and night,
And remember there is no limit to all that you can do.
