Deep beneath the rippling waters of an ancient lake lived a small pink axolotl wide-eyed and awake.

With feathery gills like a crown on each side,

She drifted with wonder where the secrets reside.

The lake was a hidden world,

Quiet and deep,

Where dragonflies hovered and turtles would sleep.

Lilies floated gently,

Reeds swayed in time,

And the sun through the water looked golden and divine.

Why am I different?

She'd sometimes ask.

Why can I heal from any great task?

Why do my limbs grow back,

Good as new?

What is the meaning of all that I do?

Her friends,

The fish,

Could not understand,

They darted and scattered like grains of sand.

But the axolotl lingered,

Thoughtful and slow,

Curious about the mysteries she longed to know.

One night the moon cast a silver glow and the little axolotl felt currents below.

They whispered like stories,

Steady and old,

Of gods and of legends the waters still hold.

The axolotl's gills quivered with awe at the courage and strength of the tale that she saw.

The lake hummed softly,

The reeds bent low,

As if nodding gently to let her know.

You carry resilience to heal and be strong,

You carry the power to right what feels wrong.

When the world feels heavy,

When wounds appear,

You bring renewal,

Hope,

And cheer.

You remind each heart,

Both timid and youth,

That healing is possible and so is the truth.

The axolotl swam past stones carved in sand,

Ancient etchings left by a long vanished hand.

She paused by a cavern,

Dark as the night,

Where shadows turned soft in the moonbeam's light.

She imagined the underworld vast and wide,

Where spirits might wander with her as a guide.

Not a monster of fear nor a creature of dread,

But a friend to the lost with wisdom to spread.

She pictured the children who might come near,

Peering into the waters,

Unsure and in fear.

What would they see if they met her gaze?

A smile of comfort,

A lantern's blaze.

The axolotl glided with newfound delight,

Her gills glowed bright in the pale moonlight.

No need to grow older,

I'll keep my youth,

But I'll share my wisdom and shine with truth.

She swirled with the minnows,

She danced with the reeds,

She carried the knowledge the whole world needs,

That wounds can be mended and hearts can renew,

That change is a blessing shaping what's true.

So if you should wander by a lake or stream,

And glimpse a small creature that feels like a dream,

Remember the axolotl,

Tender and wise,

With healing renewal and hope in her eyes.

For each time we stumble or feel we may fall,

This guardian reminds us we can grow through it all.

And deep in our spirit,

Like waters that flow,

We too can transform,

Heal,

And grow.
